At first glance, Kelly or Shapiro might seem to help more by joining the ticket. While Harris is now comfortably ahead in Minnesota, she’s behind or dead even in Arizona and Pennsylvania polls. And by not putting Shapiro on the ticket, Harris avoids splits in the party over the war in Gaza.
