Some people don't understand why I date younger menSome people — mainly other women — disapprove of me dating younger guys. Other people are encouragingMy friend Phoebe, an energetic 81-year-old, tells me she could do with a younger man. AdvertisementWhy I'm going to keep dating younger menBut the ultimate reason I date younger men is because they're the men who want to date me. Younger men are attracted to confidence and individuality and are less taken with old-fashioned stereotypes. Dating younger men has shown me that my needs and desires are important too.

"It's great, but it takes an effort," Samtur told Business Insider. That means that right now, Gen Z and baby boomers, in particular, might be experiencing a strange juxtaposition: They're happy and lonely at the same time. "So people feel maybe a little less happy with their lives in midlife, but it doesn't mean you're also feeling lonely." "Overall, people tended to be more lonely, just persistently lonely, if they had less education, had lower income, and poor health," Graham said. Some Gen Zers pay for social connections through activities like fitness memberships.

It's a more aggressive approach than many investors employ, because being a short seller is infinitely more risky than buying shares. But when you short, the potential loss is unlimited because there's no guarantee a stock's price will fall; it could instead rally to extreme highs. These variables include low institutional ownership, low cash reserves, and market caps smaller than $250 million, among other characteristics that could signal a vulnerable stock. Uber (UBER) is another stock he really likes, although he allocates less toward it because it's a newer company. But everywhere I go, there's Uber.

My dad became a father to me and my twin brother when he was 54. But it had been a long time — my sister is 24 years older than me, and my brother is 26 years older than me. I had a different experience with my dad than my older siblings didBy virtue of the age difference, we were never destined to be as close to them as most siblings are. My parents have had a turbulent relationship with my older siblings, and boundaries were occasionally put in place when it came to communication. But I've only realized this as an adult, as when I was young, I was just confused and, frankly, angry that my older siblings would shun me and my brother.

During our drink, he suggested we rent our house and travel for six months. Renting our Palo Alto home wasn't that simple; this was before the era of Airbnb and digital nomads. In this article BTC.CM= Follow your favorite stocks CREATE FREE ACCOUNTOmer Taha Cetin | Anadolu | Getty ImagesA major thesis around bitcoin ETFs was that financial advisors needed regulated funds like them to direct their wealthy clients to invest in bitcoin. For one, bitcoin ETFs have been hailed as the most successful ETF launches in history, with BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) reaching $20 billion in assets under management this week, even with advisors sitting out. CNBC spoke with a dozen members of CNBC's Advisor Council, which includes Baker, to learn why so many financial planners are still down on bitcoin and bitcoin ETFs, and what could cause them to change their tune. Many hope consistent flows into bitcoin ETFs over the years can lower that volatility, but for now, it's still a deterrent for some. "Financial advisors now have a way to give clients access [to bitcoin] that's safe, reliable and regulated," said Bradley Klontz, managing principal of YMW Advisors in Boulder, Colorado.

But, during all of the emotional, logistical, and legal stresses of going through my second divorce, one problem often felt worse than others: changing my name, again. I had changed my name beforeI never felt particularly attached to my maiden name. In addition to the humiliation at work, I also changed my Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn profile names back to my maiden name. It's ironic, really, that I worked in marketing for decades and didn't value the brand of my given name. AdvertisementTo take advantage of these asymmetries in the market, Arnott said that value stocks and TIPS are two investments that would perform well in a higher-inflation environment. One way investors can gain exposure to these assets is through funds like the iShares Core S&P U.S. Value ETF (IUSV), the Schwab U.S. More specifically, value stocks within both developed and emerging markets are trading in their "cheapest decile ever" compared to growth stocks, Arnott said.

DeWine, who called the special session to resolve the Biden issue and tackle unrelated campaign finance legislation, is expected to sign the bill. In the past, both parties have had to reconcile late summer nominating conventions with earlier state deadlines to certify candidates for the general election ballot. Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, a Republican, warned Democrats last month that Biden was in danger of not qualifying for the ballot. In recent weeks, many GOP lawmakers conditioned their support for moving the deadline on a vote to ban non-U.S. citizens from donating to campaigns for state ballot initiatives. The uncertainty frustrated Democrats and prompted Biden and the DNC to set the virtual roll call in motion.

Binance's billionaire founder Changpeng Zhao has reported to a low-security federal prison in Lompoc, California. CNBC reached out to Zhao's defense team at Latham & Watkins to confirm that the former crypto chief is now in custody. Zhao was sentenced to four months in prison in April after pleading guilty to charges of enabling money laundering at his crypto exchange. The sentence handed down to the former Binance chief was significantly less than the three years that federal prosecutors had been seeking for him. "I'm sorry," Zhao told U.S. District Judge Richard Jones before receiving his sentence, according to Reuters.
