New York CNN —Kum & Go, the Midwestern gas station chain that gained national fame for the immature snickers its name often receives, is making a change. Kum & Go was founded in Iowa in 1959 by Bill Krause and his father-in-law T.S. Gentle as Hampton Oil Co. and eventually expanded across the Midwest, changing its name to Kum & Go in 1975. Kum & Go has 400 locations spread throughout 13 states in the US Midwest and South. Maverik’s acquisition brings the combined number of locations to about 800 and makes it the 12th largest convenience and gas station chain in the United States.

Goldberg said that for people targeted by AI-generated sexual images, the first step — however counterintuitive — should be to screenshot them. Dine Brands, which owns the two restaurants, announced that the combined Applebee’s-IHOP restaurant will open approximately 35 miles west of San Antonio early next year, marking the first time the company has brought the concept to the United States. Plans for the dual-branded restaurant were announced earlier this year as part of Dine Brand’s plan to grow the two restaurants, which both reported lackluster earnings Wednesday. The idea is to maximize revenue with the same footprint of a traditional restaurant. More than 30 years ago, Edwards recorded four iconic lines for what was then a little-known company called America Online. His wife, Karen, worked at Quantum Computer Services, which eventually became AOL, Edwards said in an AOL YouTube video in 2012. She volunteered her husband, and Edwards recorded the phrases on a cassette deck in his living room. “I didn’t enjoy being on camera as much as I enjoyed being behind the scenes,” Edwards said on the podcast.
