Circuit Judge Reid Scott rejected Tesla's motion to summarily dismiss Kim Banner's lawsuit accusing the company of causing her husband Jeremy Banner's death in 2019. The US tech giant said in a Wednesday statement it would scrap its planned $5.4 billion purchase of Tower Semiconductor (TSEM), saying it had not received the necessary sign-off from regulators in time. Barnaby Webber and Grace Kumar, both 19-year-old students at the University of Nottingham, and Ian Coates, 65, a school janitor, were fatally stabbed.
