It is, however, by all appearances not a great time to be long stocks. But before that could happen, the markets would fall in response to Iran's actions and the U.S. commitment to defend Israel. All three enemies — Iran, Russia and China — are, indeed, being challenged by the U.S. in some capacity. How to Start Accounting for Carbon

Start with the easier stuffBegin with the more straightforward direct emissions from operations and energy purchases—so-called Scope 1 and 2 emissions. On its website, the company provides emissions data for computers and its sustainability-linked sales rose to $3.5 billion in 2021, about 5% of total sales. For HP and Nestlé, more than 95% of their carbon footprint is Scope 3 emissions. To make Scope 3 accounting more accurate, companies can add data that comes directly from their suppliers, if it is available. Businesses can also work together with their suppliers and customers to provide some training and resources to help them get their own carbon accounting in order.

The Economic Injury Disaster Loan program provided low-interest, fixed-rate loans to help small businesses nd other organizations to help cover their operating expenses.

When it was released 30 years ago, “Menace II Society” was a shock to the system. Maybe because the trailer conveyed a sense of optimism amid scenes of Black urban life, many moviegoers were expecting another “Boyz N the Hood,” which had met with universal acclaim two years earlier. Not so in “Menace.” It is about those who cannot escape, the thousands of boys who grow into men trapped by circumstances. If “Boyz N the Hood” was a dream that few got to experience, “Menace II Society” was the reality of those who were left behind. Martin Ware is associated with the Arts and Crafts movement, which arose in the late 19th century in opposition to the industrialization of decorative arts. The Southall studio, founded by the Martin brothers in a former soap factory in 1877, remained in operation through the early 20th century. She guided me first to the former Palace Cinema, constructed in a Chinese style and opened in 1929. The cinema became an essential cultural space for London’s growing South Asian population.
