We took a look at three European hubs — Lisbon, Florence, and Amsterdam — that have imposed relatively strict regulations on short-term rentals. Cities have been worried about the impact of short-term rentals on housing costs for years. Instead of a blanket ban, Amsterdam caps the number of nights hosts can rent out their homes at 30 a year. A new court filing accuses Skillz Inc. — a struggling mobile gaming company — of trying to sabotage its rivals by creating a fake consumer advocacy website. The allegations were made in a counterclaim filed to court Monday by one of those competitors, Papaya Games. A screenshot of the 4 Fair Play website, included in a Papaya Games court filing, shows that Skillz's competitors were identified as the worst offenders — not Skillz itself. A Skillz executive provided comments on the 4 Fair Play website design, according to screenshots of a website mockup included as a court exhibit. But it said in Monday's counterclaim that Skillz games, however, do use bots.

The popular Southeast Asia destination recently introduced a new five-year visa targeted at remote workers and other travelers looking to stay in the kingdom for extended periods. According to a statement issued by the Thai prime minister’s office, the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) will allow eligible travelers a period of stay up to 180 days per visit, on a multiple-entry basis, within five years. Thailand certainly isn’t alone in its desire to bring travelers in for longer periods. “A global trend we have observed throughout the post-Covid-19 period has been that travelers are staying at destinations for longer,” he says. “These measures will likely enhance the appeal of Thailand for long-term visitors, potentially increasing these proportions over time.”

Biscuit Basin and other popular geysers have experienced similar explosions in the past, officials said. New York CNN —An activist hacking group claimed it leaked thousands of Disney’s internal messaging channels, which included information about unreleased projects, raw images computer codes and some logins. Nullbulge, the “hacktivist group,” claimed responsibility for the breach and said they leaked a gigantic, roughly 1.2 terabytes of information from Disney’s Slack, a communications software. In an email on Monday to CNN, the group claimed it gained access through “a man with Slack access who had cookies.” The email also claimed the group was based out of Russia. The hackers said they leaked the data because making demands of Disney would be futile. “If we said ‘Hello Disney, we have all your slack data’ they would instantly lock down and try to take us out.
