NEW DELHI, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Fielding Virat Kohli at number four could address India's long-standing concerns about a settled batter at that crucial position, former coach Ravi Shastri has said. Kohli has amassed the lion's share of his 12,898 runs, which include 39 hundreds, batting at number three in 212 of his 275 innings. In his 42 appearances at number four, Kohli averaged 55.21, slightly below his overall 57.32, and has scored seven hundreds. MUMBAI, June 7 (Reuters) - About three-fourths of Indians are choosing to deposit the recently withdrawn 2000-rupee notes into bank accounts so far rather than exchanging them for smaller denominations, with the trend likely to boost bank deposits, bankers said. In May, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said it would withdraw these high-value notes from circulation and permitted their exchange or deposit until Sept. 30. When announced, the value of these notes in circulation was 3.6 trillion rupees ($43.61 billion), the RBI said. Though the total quantum of notes deposited or exchanged so far is not available, six public and private sector bankers Reuters spoke to said over 80% of the notes received by them have been deposited into accounts. The initial assumption is the overall bank deposit base would increase by at least 1.5 trillion rupees, with SBI contributing 22%-25%, the SBI official said.

Ceartă ca la uşa cortului între un echipaj de poliţie şi câţiva locuitori din satul Danu, raionul Glodeni, care ne-au expediat imagini de la incident. Contactată telefonic, purtătoarea de cuvânt a Inspectoratului de Poliție Glodeni, Eugenia Molceanov, ne-a declarat că, de fapt, oamenii legii a acționat regulamentar. Potrivit ei, polițiștii au depistat o mașină care se deplasa cu viteză excesivă, al cărei şofer a refuzat să oprească, apoi a abandonat mașina și a fugit. Reprezentanții Companiei Naţionale de Asigurări în Medicină (CNAM) au emis joi, 13 mai, un comunicat de presă prin care anunță că au transferat prestatorilor de servicii medicale plăţile în avans pentru luna mai. În acest scop au fost alocate aproape 623 de milioane de lei. Compania Naţională de Asigurări în Medicină (CNAM) a virat în perioada 6-13 mai prestatorilor de servicii medicale plăţile în avans pentru luna curentă. Plăţile în avans sunt efectuate pentru a facilita acordarea continuă a asistenţei medicale populaţiei asigurate, în volumul şi de calitatea prevăzute de Programul unic al asigurării obligatorii de asistenţă medicală. Potrivit contractelor încheiate cu instituţiile medico-sanitare și Criteriilor de contractare a prestatorilor de asistenţă medicală, CNAM achită în două etape serviciile medicale oferite de prestatori.
