A JetBlue passenger missed his flight from Las Vegas to LA, with his bag onboard the plane. Airport officials said the "disgruntled" passenger then called in a bomb threat, per KABC-TV. A passenger who was angry that he missed his JetBlue flight from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Los Angeles, California, called in a bomb threat on Thursday, authorities said. The passenger who missed his flight was taken into custody by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, with KVVU reporting that police took "enforcement action against the subject." Las Vegas Police, JetBlue, and the LAX Police Department did not respond to Insider's requests for comment.

Benjamin Obadiah Foster, 36, is the subject of an intensive, round-the-clock search by police after a woman was found unconscious, bound and near death in Grants Pass, Oregon, on Tuesday. Foster’s public defender in the Las Vegas case did not immediately respond to emails from The Associated Press seeking comment on Foster’s behalf. In 2019, before moving to Oregon, Foster held his then-girlfriend captive inside her Las Vegas apartment for two weeks. Hensman said he didn’t have time to think about how authorities in Nevada handled Foster’s crimes there.

DNA collected from under her fingernails was tested using new technology after detectives took another look at her case, and the suspect, Paul Nuttall, was arrested Thursday, police said. After police and the DNA lab looked at the case again, “they were able to determine that there was additional evidence that could be submitted for processing using new DNA technology,” Johansson said. He was arrested on charges of murder, sexual assault and burglary, police said, and was still living in Las Vegas.
More human remains were found at Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Nevada, marking the sixth discovery this year at the country's largest reservoir, a spokesperson for the federal park said Thursday. Las Vegas police have apprehended a man who escaped prison earlier this week while serving a life sentence for a deadly 2007 explosion outside a Las Vegas Strip resort. Duarte-Herrera escaped from the Southern Desert Correctional Center in Indian Springs and was discovered missing during the 7 a.m. count Tuesday, according to the Nevada Corrections Department. They had warned anyone who spotted him not to approach the escaped inmate and to call 911 immediately. He said he had ordered the Corrections Department to launch a thorough investigation into what happened. Rueda-Denvers, 47, remains behind bars at a separate state prison, according to Corrections Department records.
Las Vegas police said Monday they are investigating a fan's contact with the quarterback of the NFL's Arizona Cardinals immediately after the team's win Sunday.
