Ron DeSantis and former Vice President Mike Pence, are attempting to take our nation backward by vowing to rename a military base in North Carolina in honor of Braxton Bragg, a slave-owning, former Confederate general. Fort Bragg became Fort Liberty earlier this month as part of a push to remove the names of Confederate leaders from military bases in the wake of protests over the police killing of George Floyd. Confederate President Jefferson Davis asked Bragg to leave his plantation and serve as a general. At the 1863 Battle of Chickamauga alone — where Bragg was uncharacteristically successful in defeating Union forces — patriotic US soldiers suffered 16,000 casualties. of Fort Bragg, Fort Robert E. ☆ Webb telescope detects organic molecules in distant galaxy

CNN —Astronomers have detected the most distant known organic molecules in the universe using the James Webb Space Telescope. It’s the first time Webb has detected complex molecules in the distant universe. The complex molecules were found in a galaxy known as SPT0418-47, located more than 12 billion light-years away. The galaxy observed by the Webb telescope shows an Einstein ring caused by a phenomenon known as gravitational lensing, which occurs when two galaxies are almost perfectly aligned from our perspective on Earth. Investigating the early universeAstronomers spotted the signature of the organic molecules during a careful analysis of Webb’s data.

TralaTrala is a startup that helps adult violin students learn to play from virtual lessons. Now, the company has raised $8 million in Series A funding led by Alexis Ohanian's Seven Seven Six. For Trala cofounder and CEO Sam Walder, music has always been a huge part of his life.
