Hong Kong CNN —Asian markets rebounded Friday after First Republic Bank was rescued by a group of major US lenders, which eased worries about the current banking turmoil. First Republic Bank (FRC) is set to receive a $30 billion lifeline from a group of America’s largest banks, including JPMorgan Chase (JPM), Bank of America (BAC), Wells Fargo (CBEAX), Citigroup (C) and Truist (TFC). “Following the recent global financial instabilities, First Republic Bank was expected to be the next domino to fall,” said Yeap Jun Rong, a market analyst at IG. Worries deepened on Wednesday after shares of Credit Suisse plummeted in Europe. Regulators on both sides of the Atlantic have taken emergency measures to shore up confidence, including protecting deposits at Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank and giving a $54 billion lifeline to Credit Suisse.

Many Germans viewed the end of the Cold War as the end of major conflict for the West. Cinci grădinițe din Austria Inferioară, landul care înconjoară regiunea Vienei, vor testa copiii prin „teste-acadea”, ca parte dintr-un program- pilot, menit să detecteze cât mai din timp îmbolnăvirile cu COVID, scrie portalul european Themayor.eu, citat de libertatea.ro. Conform procedurii, testul se va face în prima zi de grădiniță a fiecărei săptămâni și încă odată două zile mai târziu. Testul are o acuratețe de 95,65% și costă în jur de 12 euro. Planul este ca noile teste „prietenoase” cu copiii să fie folosite timp de opt săptămâni, urmând ca rezultatele să fie evaluate după alte două săptămâni. „Dacă testele-acadea sunt bine primite, vom extinde programul la toate grădinițele din regiune”, spune Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig, consilier de stat în Austria Inferioară și unul dintre inițiatorii programului.
