Uranium stocks have cooled off in recent weeks, making this a good time for investors to jump in, according to Bank of America. Many of the biggest uranium stocks like Cameco Corp. are down about 14% in February. Since 2021 clean energy ETFs with heavy exposure to wind and solar power have suffered a sharp bear market ( > 30% losses and $2.4bn outflows), but over the same period investors added $2bn into uranium & nuclear power ETFs," Woodard said. An example of a uranium fund that is seeing such a blip is the Global X Uranium ETF (URA) , which is Woodard's top pick in this space. Another uranium fund that Bank of America is bullish on is VanEck Uranium and Nuclear Energy ETF (NLR) .

Donald Trump’s victory in the Iowa caucuses was resounding enough to make the race for the Republican nomination look essentially finished at the start. But it wasn’t resounding enough to remove the sense that it could have been otherwise, that yet again his opposition within the Republican Party made things ridiculously easy for his candidacy. Trump is essentially running an incumbent’s campaign, presenting himself as the default leader of the party, declining to debate, rolling up endorsements. Eugene McCarthy’s 42 percent of the New Hampshire primary vote in 1968 forced Lyndon Johnson out of the race. Ted Kennedy’s 31 percent in Iowa and 37 percent in New Hampshire in 1980 betokened a long and bitter campaign for Jimmy Carter.

Daylight saving time is the practice of moving clocks forward by one hour during summer months so daylight lasts longer into the evening. WHY WAS DAYLIGHT SAVING CREATED IN THE US AND HOW DID IT START? No, Hawaii and Arizona, with the exception of Navajo Nation, do not observe daylight saving time. While daylight saving time is widespread across the United States, 19 states have passed legislation to permanently use daylight saving time if Congress were to allow it, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. The U.S. is not ending daylight saving any time soon, though there is an effort in the federal government to pass the so-called Sunshine Protection Act, which would make daylight saving time permanent.

The effort against Issue 1, which would amend the constitution to protect abortion rights, raised just under $10 million in the same period, according to Thursday's filings. The campaign against Issue 1, called Protect Women Ohio, accepted more than half its donations in the final months of the race from Protect Women Ohio Action Inc., a committee associated with the anti-abortion group Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America. It's been harder for campaigns against abortion rights to get traction, Lenkowsky said. In Ohio, an August special election that would have swayed November's election went in the direction of abortion rights supporters, which likely made anti-abortion donors less willing to keep giving. Here are the best quotes Buffett dropped in his first TV interview from nearly 40 years ago. The real test of whether you're investing from a value standpoint or not is whether you care whether the stock market is open tomorrow. If you're making a good investment in a security, it shouldn't bother if they closed down the stock market for five years." There are all kinds of things I don't know about, and that may be too bad. First, Jewish donors probably can’t win the identity politics game. But this strategy also has inherent limits, insofar as the free speech protected by campus administrators is only as diverse as the people who are speaking. Which brings us to the second point for would-be reshapers of the university: If you can’t influence faculty hiring and tenure, you may be wasting your money. Will the University of Pennsylvania miss the collection of major donors who’ve denounced the school in the past week? But not with the goal of using such student groups as a means of conflict with the administration or the faculty.
