SILKYARA, India, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Rescuers in India hope to finish drilling through debris on Thursday and free 41 men trapped in a highway tunnel in the Himalayan region after a metal obstacle slowed progress, officials said. The men began the twelfth day of their ordeal confined in the 4.5-km (3-mile) tunnel in Uttarakhand state since it caved in early on Nov. 12. Once the drill breaks through, officials said they plan to send rescuers through the evacuation pipe, using stretchers on wheels, to bring out the trapped men. The two biggest funds at Boaz Weinstein's Saba Capital are down by more than 10% this year. According to HSBC's weekly report, the flagship fund has lost close to 12%. Weinstein came into 2023 bearish about the economy, which has been resilient despite rising rates. Saba Capital — the $4.8 billion hedge fund manager run by Boaz Weinstein — hasn't had the best year. Two of its funds — the flagship and a more hedged version — are down 11.9% and 10.6%, respectively, through November 10, according to the latest edition of HSBC's Hedge Weekly.

That’s despite a 4% decline in sales, as customers pulled back on buying apparel, electronics and home accessories. It’s the best the $60 billion retailer can do, and shareholders are rightly rewarding it. The key to its success this quarter is inventory, which fell 14% from the same period last year. For a long time, too much stuff sat in Target’s back room.

ABU DHABI, Oct 30 (Reuters) - The presidency of next month's COP28 climate summit and two renewable energy organisations on Monday urged governments to triple renewable energy capacity by 2030 as part of efforts to stop global warming exceeding 1.5 degrees Celsius. Renewable energy capacity needs "to reach more than 11,000 GW" by 2030, the United Arab Emirates' COP28 presidency, the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and the Global Renewables Alliance said in a joint report. Group of 20 nations, among them China, the United States and India, agreed in September to pursue efforts to triple global renewable energy capacity by 2030. However, striking a deal among the nearly 200 countries that attend COP28 meetings will not be easy. They say a renewable energy deal at COP28 must be paired with a commitment to phase out CO2-emitting fossil fuels - a pledge that has faced resistance from Saudi Arabia, Russia and other fossil fuel-reliant economies.

Shares in the company led by Sundar Pichai declined by a tenth in two days. It’s not exactly a cloudless sky - AWS growth is slowing relative to last year, and its growth rate is still 10 percentage points below Alphabet’s.

"The partnership will focus on providing logistics services for NEOM in the coming years," the statement said, adding NEOM will hold 51% of the joint venture and DSV 49%. "The joint venture will provide end-to-end supply chain management, development and investments in transport and logistics assets and infrastructure as well as transport and delivery of goods and materials within NEOM," the companies said. Ohad Munder-Zichri is believed to be a hostage, along with his mother and grandparents, held by Hamas. Ohad has not been seen since Hamas militants attacked the kibbutz of Nir Oz where he was visiting. Ohad's family members spoke with CNN about the 9-year-old and were asked what they'd say to those who apparently have him captive. For Zichri, Ohad's father, it was just another in a series of agonizing days, with anxiety consuming his every moment. Zichri was awaiting Ohad and his mom's return on October 7 when he heard air-raid sirens warning of incoming rockets.
