Tot mai mult după ajutor se adresează mame cu mulți copii, care sunt victime ale violenței în familie. Impactul violenței în familie asupra copiilor a fost discutat în cadrul unui eveniment, organizat de Centrul de Drept al Femeilor, transmite IPN. Co-fondatoarea Centrului, psihologul Lidia Gorceag, a declarat că violența în familie își lasă amprenta asupra copiilor, chiar din primele luni de viață. Însă există și a treia variantă, în cazul în care apare o persoană referentă, foarte importantă pentru el, de la care învață să fie altfel.
