Redwood City, Calif.-based Equinix, a real-estate investment trust that runs 251 data centers worldwide, is taking advantage of differences in interest rates between countries by issuing debt where rates are lower than in the U.S. Last year, the company sold bonds for the first time in Switzerland and returned to Japan to raise debt. And it remains on the hunt for other low-yield jurisdictions, even as the Federal Reserve pencils in rate cuts for later this year, says Chief Financial Officer Keith Taylor .

Nov 6 (Reuters) - A Jewish man who fell to the ground in an altercation amid pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian street protests in California died on Monday, and his death was determined to be a homicide, law enforcement and a Jewish organization said. The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles identified the victim as a Jewish man and labeled the incident as the fourth act of antisemitic violence in the Los Angeles area this year and the second since Oct. 7. Kessler was involved in a physical altercation between counter-protesters, the sheriff's office said, citing witness accounts. "During the altercation, Kessler fell backwards and struck his head on the ground. The sheriff's office said it would hold a news conference on Tuesday about the incident.

Paul Kessler's death was being investigated as a homicide and authorities haven't ruled out the possibility a hate crime occurred, said a statement from the Ventura County Sheriff's Department. Kessler was injured shortly before 3:30 p.m. Sunday during competing demonstrations in Thousand Oaks, a city of about 125,000 northwest of Los Angeles.
