Glencoe’s 60022 ZIP Code median listing price is $3.26 million, surpassing the next priciest Midwestern ZIP Code—that of Kenilworth, Ill., about four miles southeast of Glencoe—by close to $1 million. CNN —A 1-year-old girl in New York died after her grandmother left her in the back seat of a car for eight hours while she went to work, police said. “Approximately eight hours later, the woman went to pick up the child at the day care, located on Redwood Lane in Smithtown, when she realized she had left the child in her vehicle,” police said. The death is under investigation and police have not said whether there will be any charges in the case. The high temperature Monday in Smithtown, which is located on the North Shore of Long Island, was 83 degrees. Within an hour, car temperatures can rise more than 40 degrees, even when temperatures are low.

CNN —A Minnesota woman was severely injured by a bison in Theodore Roosevelt National Park in Medora, North Dakota, according to the National Park Service. A bison gored a 47-year-old Arizona woman Monday morning in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. In the wake of the two incidents involving national park guests within days of each other, the National Park Service has issued a warning that bison can be easily agitated during mating season. Use extra caution and give them additional space during this time,” the park service said. “Approaching bison threatens them, and they may respond by bluff charging, head bobbing, pawing, bellowing, or snorting,” according to the park service.

WELLINGTON, June 20 (Reuters) - A man wielding an axe entered three Chinese restaurants on Monday night in New Zealand’s largest city Auckland, sending four people to hospital, authorities and local media reported. One victim was discharged and three remain in stable condition, North Shore and Auckland hospital spokespeople said on Tuesday. Local media reported that the man went into three Chinese restaurants — Zhangliang Malatang, Yues Dumpling Kitchen and Maya Hotpot — and started randomly attacking people with an axe around 9 p.m. on Monday night. A witness told local news organisation Radio New Zealand that she was eating at Maya Hotpot with a friend when a man came at her friend with the axe. New Zealand Police said they had arrested a 24-year-old man and he was due to appear in court on Tuesday on a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
