If the Supreme Court sides with the plaintiffs and decides to roll back or invalidate Food and Drug Administration regulations on mifepristone, it would be the first time the court undercut the federal agency’s authority. The abortion pill case before the Supreme Court could have implications far beyond abortion, potentially undermining the regulatory system for all medicines in the United States. If the Supreme Court sides with the plaintiffs and decides to roll back or invalidate F.D.A. They would have to pick up mifepristone in person from a doctor and would have to visit the doctor three times during the medication abortion process. and not to abortion providers, some medication abortion services have been stockpiling mifepristone and may continue prescribing and mailing their supply.

By a vote of 13 to 2, the team voted to join the service employees union SEIU Local 560 — making them the first college athletes in US history to vote to join a labor union. Then, last month, the NLRB ruled that the Dartmouth players were employees of the school, clearing the way for the unionization vote. The Dartmouth vote also comes as the share of union members in the US reached a record low of just 10% in 2023. AdvertisementIn the short term, however, the impact of the Dartmouth vote could be limited. Barclays has identified the European stocks that are most at risk of taking a hit to profits over rising interest payments for debt over the next two years. During the coronavirus pandemic, central banks cut interest rates to historic lows, enabling companies to borrow debt at very favorable rates. The table below shows the 10 stocks Barclays expects to have the biggest increase in interest costs through to 2025. Since interest costs are integral to real estate business models, the impact on margins and profits could be much more severe, the bank's analysts said. The Barclays team is confident that while interest rates can hurt company bottom lines, there was "scant" evidence that showed there was systemic risk.
