Saturday night’s winners were familiar to those who have been following awards season, as actors from “The Bear,” “Oppenheimer” and “Beef” took home statuettes as expected. The cast of “Succession” led the nominations among the television categories with five – nabbing the top honor for best ensemble. “Oppenheimer” reigned victorious with three of those awards, while “Barbie” was shut out. This is the first SAG Awards since last year’s prolonged actors’ strike in Hollywood – a fact that was brought up several times throughout the evening – and is also the last major entertainment awards event before next month’s Oscars ceremony.

While Jackson’s transformation was a savvy collaboration with makeup brand CoverFx, temporary tattoo camouflage has snowballed as an essential celebrity makeup technique. While shooting the Disney+ series “The Bear,” Jeremy Allen White required extensive tattoo coverage (and temporary tattoo re-application) that would withstand filming for hours in a hot kitchen. Paris Jackson was a blank canvas on the red carpet after her makeup artists spent two hours camouflaging her 80 tattoos, shown on the right. Elsewhere on the red carpet, while Rey and Jackson were disguising their ink, Doja Cat (who scooped three awards this season) went face-first into the world of — albeit temporary — tattoos. Doja Cat was covered in temporary tattoos at the Grammy awards on Sunday in Los Angeles.

This week, while completing a press tour around New York for the FX series, “Feud: Capote vs. the Swans,” Demi Moore was hardly seen without her 1.5 pound dog, Pilaf, nestled in her elbow. “She is a treasure, she’s like my little extra heart.”On Monday, Moore was spotted again with her dog, Pilaf, this time in Tribeca. During the height of her influence, Paris Hilton was regularly seen with a fleet of chihuahuas in tow. Wearing a Versace lace tailored blazer dress, Moore held Pilaf like a tiny fluffy clutch bag. Moore is known to adopt and foster abandoned puppies (she currently has 10 at her home in Idaho) and is staunchly anti-puppy farms.

In the ad, FKA twigs looks directly at the camera. What’s clear, though, is that the Jeremy Allen White ads expose much more of his body than the FKA twigs ad exposes of hers. And the FKA twigs ad isn’t the only one in which a woman appears partly nude to advertise her Calvins. And in another, she’s wearing just socks and underwear with no top — again covering her breasts with her arms, but, like FKA twigs, also exposing the side of her leg, torso, arm and breast; unlike FKA twigs, she’s sitting rounded over, in a less stereotypically powerful, and more passive-appearing, position. The Calvin Klein company said its ad was from a partnership with FKA twigs, a confident and empowered woman.

CNN —Netflix’s “Beef” and FX/Hulu’s “The Bear” are enjoying the kind of awards season hot streak that so many shows wish they could cook up. The way their feud unfolds in the 10 proceeding episodes highlights the inequity that is introduced in that scene. Steven Yeun and Ali Wong star in "Beef." Chuck Hodes/FXBoth shows are critically acclaimed and have have been sweeping award shows this season, most recently winning multiple Emmy Awards, and it’s not hard to see why.
