The man can be seen approaching her and then appearing to touch her bottom as she’s talking to presenter Nacho Abad in the studio. Balado tried to continue with her piece to camera, but Abad asked her if the man had just touched her bottom. “Do you really need to touch my bum?” she asked, before telling him that she’s live on television. “It’s very unpleasant, particularly when you are working,” she said, before the camera panned to show the man standing on the street with another man. “Only yes means yes.”The man was later arrested and Spain’s national police posted a video on X of him being led away in cuffs.

From the beginning of the stage he was in every attack and once the escape group became established it was clear he was the boss of it -- making a tough day look like a breeze. "Yesterday was a very difficult day and also the evening with a lot of negative thoughts in my head," Evenepoel said. "It was a super tough stage but really nice to take my second stage win. Vingegaard wins Vuelta stage 13 on terrible day for Evenepoel

Sept 8 (Reuters) - Jonas Vingegaard tamed the Tourmalet to win stage 13 of the Vuelta a Espana, on a dramatic day which saw last year's winner Remco Evenepoel's challenge wither in the Pyrenees on Friday. The relentless climbing and downhill racing took its toll on many, including last year's winner Evenepoel, who now finds himself out of contention. Any early attacks had all been reeled in by a Jumbo-Visma team looking to control the race. With the five-man group left to battle behind Vingegaard, it was Kuss who attacked in the final kilometre to close the gap. Saturday's stage 14 is another mountain stage, a 156.5 kilometre ride from Sauveterre-de-Bearn to Larra-Belagua.

"Yet today it's really nervous in the final (sprint), we have a lot of roundabouts, a lot of wind also. Groves, winner of stages four and five, managed to win the intermediate sprint to maintain his grip on the Green jersey. Aug 27 (Reuters) - Ineos Grenadiers rider Laurens de Plus failed to start the second stage of the Vuelta a Espana on Sunday after sustaining an injury in a rain-hit team time trial. De Plus crashed during the opening stage in Barcelona on Saturday and scans revealed he had suffered a fractured hip. "He underwent a range of imaging on an injury sustained to his right hip, which showed a non-displaced fracture," Ineos Grenadiers said in a statement. "A treatment plan for Laurens is currently being finalised and we look forward to him making a full and speedy recovery." The absence of Belgian De Plus is a blow to Ineos Grenadiers general classification contender Geraint Thomas as he would have been a domestique in the many mountain stages to come.

The Classics specialist and five-time cyclocross world champion is the first Dutchman to win the rainbow jersey in the road race since Joop Zoetemelk in 1985. "Maybe this completes my career in my opinion, it's maybe my biggest victory on the road and I cannot imagine riding in the rainbows for a year," Van der Poel said. Heavy rain provided another twist and Van der Poel might have paid for his late spill but, with a rainbow arced over the city, he closed in on the rainbow jersey. I was pretty pissed at myself," Van der Poel said. When Van der Poel powered up the steep Montrose Road climb for the final time he could finally enjoy ending the long Dutch wait for a road world champion.

Moving through the darkened holds of a replica of Christopher Columbus’s ship, visitors on a recent afternoon marveled at the tangle of compasses, cordage and barrels. At last, a voice shouted “Land!” and the white sands of America appeared. May it be for the greater glory of God,” Columbus was then heard telling Queen Isabella I of Castile. The popularity of the park has come as a surprise in a country that has long been shy about celebrating its history. Nationalist sentiments were largely taboo after the dictatorship of Gen. Francisco Franco, who died in the 1970s.

He noted, as he has, that banking stresses that emerged in March "may well lead" to more tightening in credit conditions than would be expected from rate hikes alone. After 10 straight rate hikes since March 2022, the Fed's policy-setting Federal Open Market Committee earlier this month opted to leave its policy rate unchanged at the 5%-5.25% range. "We made this decision in light of the distance we have come in tightening policy, the uncertain lags in monetary policy, and the potential headwinds from credit tightening," Powell said. Rate hikes to date have slowed business investment and the housing sector, where activity is far below its peak last year even as some indicators have recently turned up, Powell said. "It will take time" for the rest of the economy to feel the full impact of rate hikes to date, he said.
