Here are some key findings from an Associated Press investigation into Rocha's alleged betrayal and the missed red flags that could have helped him avoid scrutiny for decades. Rodríguez told AP he believed at the time he received from the Cuban defector in 2006 was an attempt to discredit a fellow anti-communist crusader. It wasn’t just Rodríguez’s tipster — whom he refused to identify to the AP but says was recently interviewed by the FBI. Officials told the AP that as early 1987, the CIA was aware Castro had a “super mole” burrowed deep inside the U.S. government. The FBI and CIA declined to comment, and the State Department didn’t respond to requests.

Ukraine's main military intelligence agency accused Russian forces of using Starlink terminals produced by Elon Musk's SpaceX in occupied areas. Starlink has been adamant that its satellite networks have never operated or been marketed in Russia, after its terminals were delivered to Ukraine following the February 2022 invasion, in order to facilitate battlefield communications for Ukrainian forces. "A number of false news reports claim that SpaceX is selling Starlink terminals to Russia. This is categorically false," Musk, who's CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, posted Sunday on the X social media platform, which he also owns. Kyiv's Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) claimed Sunday that there was mounting evidence of the equipment being used by Russian forces in the partially occupied eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk.

Rome CNN —An Italian mafia boss who escaped from a maximum security prison last year by using bed sheets to scale the walls has been captured in France, authorities say. Marco Raduano, the 40-year-old boss of the Gargano Mafia in the southern Italian region of Puglia, was caught Thursday outside a luxury restaurant in Bastia, Corsica, where he was dining with a female companion. Also apprehended was his right-hand man, Gianluigi Troiano, who fled house arrest in 2021 after detaching his electronic bracelet. Raduano’s escape by tying bed sheets from his prison window just under a year ago was caught on the penitentiary’s surveillance cameras. The escape lasted 16 seconds and he fled on foot with no guards noticing or giving chase, which led to an internal investigation of the maximum security prison.

Ukrainian commandos say they captured a Russian radar they're now using to track Moscow's warships. AdvertisementUkrainian special forces say they've captured quite a few "trophies" during their daring amphibious raids of Russian oil platforms, according to a new report. One such prize is a sophisticated long-range radar that Ukraine is now using to track Russian warships, giving them a useful tool in the Black Sea fight. Now, Ukraine says it's repurposing it to track Russian activity, Dmytro Linko, the commander of Stugna, told The War Zone. The amphibious raids are just one example of Ukraine's demonstrated ability to cause chaos far from the front lines.

Adani has denied wrongdoing, saying that Indian authorities assessed its coal shipments before releasing them from ports. India's Supreme Court is also overseeing the market regulator's probe of Hindenburg's allegations. If India's Supreme Court allows the agency's latest request, it would then need to seek an order from Singapore's Court of Appeal to release the material. The Singapore court declined requests from Reuters last month to inspect related case documents, saying in written responses that the files were sealed. The stance adopted by Adani's companies in Singapore "created impediments" and the investigation "remains stalled", the revenue agency told India's Supreme Court in 2021 filings.
