Hopes are building for big announcements from Elon Musk and Tesla at its investor day Wednesday. Master Plan 3, robotaxis, cheap EVs and solar power are thought to be high on Musk's list. Speaking on CNBC's "Squawk on the Street" on Monday, Ark Invest CEO and Tesla backer Cathie Wood said this would be a cornerstone of the Investor day. Solar PowerTesla may also continue to build out its symbiotic relationship with renewable energy generation at its investor day, targeting sustainable sources to pump electricity into its vehicles. In a tweet last month, the company teased the idea of a Tesla ecosystem: energy generation, energy storage & electric vehicles.

Tesla's vehicles offered features, such as the ability to navigate into a parking space or make rude sounds, that other vehicles lacked. IDRA, the Italian company that builds huge presses to form large one-piece castings that are the building blocks of Tesla vehicles, said it is now getting orders from other automakers.

Elon Musk said Tesla's "Master Plan 3" will focus on a "fully sustainable energy future for Earth." Its "master plan", which will be unveiled on Tesla's Investor Day, comes at a time when shareholders are at odds with Musk. "Master Plan 3, the path to a fully sustainable energy future for Earth will be presented on March 1," he said. Musk first posted a master plan in 2006, that sought to outline ambitions to build an affordable electric sports car. News of the "Master Plan 3" comes as Tesla shareholders grow concerned of Musk being distracted by his acquisition of Twitter.

Despite a rich stable of characters from Batman to Wonder Woman, the DC film and television studio has failed to match the success of Walt Disney Co's (DIS.N) Marvel hit factory. Also in 2025, DC Studios will release "Batman - Part II," a sequel starring Robert Pattison, a darker, more adult tale that is not part of Gunn's newly envisioned "DC Universe." While Marvel has become the highest-grossing film franchise in history, DC Studios has had mixed results. Four DC film projects that were completed before Gunn and Safran took over the studio will be released to theaters this year, "Shazam! Zaslav cut some costs by scrapping a third "Wonder Woman" film and a "Batgirl" movie that was headed to streaming.

Several current and former Something Navy employees told Insider they'd been inundated with emails since the spring from suppliers, freelancers, and models asking where their money was. In one email viewed by Insider, Scanlan told a supplier that cash was tight but promised payment was on the way. The current Something Navy employee said that based on data she'd seen, the retail locations most likely don't turn a profit.
