CNN —Weapons experts have identified the remnants of two US-made munitions used in an Israeli missile strike Sunday on a school in central Gaza that according to local authorities killed at least 22 people. Hundreds were taking refuge at the former school in Nuseirat when it was struck by two missiles. CNN video from the scene Sunday showed an ambulance at the school, as people frantically searched through the rubble and destroyed makeshift shelters in the schoolyard. Then another missile hit. Ball told CNN there were also fragments of a US-made Hellfire missile at the site, including the top of the guidance system.

We scroll our feeds, read endlessly, watch media people talk and talk and talk, listen to them opine. We anger and worry, mourn and resolve, and then return to the scrolling, the reading, the listening. Food doesn’t obviously have a role in our understanding of events playing out on the world stage. What I am hearing from congressional Democrats about President Biden is this: He has done little to nothing to allay their fears. The caucus meetings House and Senate Democrats held this week were an airing of grievances and despair, but they didn’t chart a path forward. What they need is a process through which they can gather the information they need to make a final decision. There are two main camps among congressional Democrats.
