Sales were up 6.1% on a like-for-like basis and 7.7% in Swiss francs, reaching 5.458 billion Swiss francs ($5.45 billion) in the nine-month period, the Geneva-based company said. Sales in its taste and wellbeing unit increased by 6.4% to 2.969 billion francs despite a hit from COVID-19 measures in China, the company said. Givaudan confirmed its mid-term target of 4-5% average organic sales growth per year on a like-for-like basis.

New Zealand has pledged to cut biogenic methane emissions by 10% on 2017 levels by 2030 and by up to 47% by 2050. Royal DSM's (DSMN.AS) Bovaer feed additive can reduce methane emissions by 30% in dairy cows and by more in beef cattle. Agricultural emissions account for around half of the country's greenhouse gas emissions. While pricing farm emissions is not universally popular, many believe it is the push farmers need to reduce them. For Fonterra, research also remains key as it aims to cap farm emissions at 2015 levels.

Câștigătorul ediției din 2012 a cursei, Bradley Wiggins, a declarat că nu simte compasiune pentru fanul implicat. „Aceste lucruri fac parte integrantă din spectacolul Turului Franței”, a declarat el la Eurosport, adăugând că astfel de incidente se petrec frecvent, sunt spontane și nu pot fi prevenite.
