A Florida man has been charged after he allegedly left two improvised explosive devices in bathrooms at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa. Eckley allegedly left two remote-controlled improvised explosive devices inside two male restrooms at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino on Sept. 29, FDLE Commissioner Mark Glass said in a news conference. One of the devices was found by an employee, who reported it, and the casino was eventually evacuated out of caution. The investigation found that three days prior to the discovery of the devices, a man was seen behaving “very suspiciously” at the casino on Sept. 25. The incident is still under investigation and it's not clear what motivated Eckley to leave the explosives in the casino.

A security guard has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder charge in the death of a 32-year-old man he is accused of shooting at a hookah lounge early Sunday, police in Texas said. Teddy Lee Mills is accused of shooting Day’shaun Colen shortly after 2 a.m. at the Bravo Hookah Lounge in Abilene, where Mills was working a private security detail and Colen was a would-be patron, police said. One person was detained Sunday after three people died in a house fire in Temple City. Firefighters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were sent to the home in the 6000 block of Sultana Avenue at around 4:50 p.m. and were able to knock down the fire in 30 minutes.
