CNN —Former President Donald Trump is scheduled for a pre-sentencing interview with a probation officer Monday after his hush money trial conviction last month, according to a Trump campaign official and two sources familiar with the matter. The interview will be virtual and, as CNN previously reported, Trump attorney Todd Blanche will be present. In the pre-sentencing interview, a defendant is typically asked about their conviction and other basic background information such as their employment and criminal history. “President Trump and his legal team are already taking necessary steps to challenge and defeat the lawless Manhattan DA case,” Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said in a statement Saturday. The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office will also submit a memo telling the judge what sentence it sees fit for Trump.

Now the $64 billion multistrategy manager has 47 names on its leadership page split among divisions like the relatively new Office of the CIO. Executive teams are often just a firm's founder and a few trusted lieutenants. Many departures from the firm's top level have been executives launching their own funds or joining Millennium colleagues starting their own funds. Private job creation slowed more than expected in May, according to a report Wednesday from ADP that signals further sluggishness in the labor market. A number of sectors saw job losses on the month. The report comes two days ahead of the more closely watched nonfarm payrolls count from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The ADP report showing private payroll growth of 188,000 in April overshot the BLS count of 167,000. Correction: The ADP figure for May was the lowest monthly level since January.

CNN —After decades of false starts, researchers say they are finally making progress on a long-acting and reversible birth control option for men. The gel was developed by the National Institutes of Health and the nonprofit Population Council, and it takes much the same approach as birth control pills for women. “I would say our expectation was that it would be similar to hormonal birth control pills. The gel also seems to have other advantages over female birth control. To him, it doesn’t feel fair that his partner has to shoulder the burden of birth control.

Shopify told employees late last week that, as of July 1, the company will no longer allow certain types of expense reimbursements. Those expenses include a benefit that allows employees to be reimbursed for up to $55 in monthly internet costs. "The Internet expense was set up to fill a need as the pandemic hit and we transitioned to remote work.
