Falling for 3D printingIn her second semester, Henry found her calling in a 3D printing class called See It, Change It, Make It. A 3D print of Yale's campus that Henry made in her first 3D printing class. Henry went on to design a small-scale concrete 3D printer with a colleague for her senior year design project. Compared with traditional building methods, "3D printed houses are fireproof and waterproof and much stronger."

The "Celestial Palace" was the culmination of nearly two decades of Chinese crewed missions to space. The astronauts will live and work on the T-shaped space outpost for six months. The next batch of "taikonauts", coined from the Chinese word for space, to board the station, in 2023, will be picked from the third generation of astronauts with scientific backgrounds.

Shenzhou-15 was the last of 11 missions, including three prior crewed missions, that began in April 2021 needed to assemble the "Celestial Palace", as the multi-module station is known in Chinese. The space outpost took on its current "T" shape in November with the arrival of the last of three cylindrical modules. FUTURE 'TAIKONAUTS'Leading the Shenzhou-15 mission was Fei Junlong, 57, who hailed from China's first batch of astronaut trainees in the late 1990s. During the space station's operation over the next decade, China is expected to launch two crewed missions to the orbiting outpost each year.

Amazon hired many positions in healthcare informatics last quarter, according to H-1B visa filings. The new positions include nursing-informatics specialists, who typically manage patient data, and medical laboratory technicians. But the end of Amazon Care, which failed to gain as much traction as Amazon had hoped, coincides with an expansion of Amazon's healthcare ambitions. The company announced plans in July to purchase the One Medical chain of medical clinics for $3.9 billion. Data-privacy activists have registered concerns about the company's planned acquisition of One Medical, which would give Amazon control of huge amounts of patient data.

These guidelines come amid other hiring restrictions implemented at the cloud giant, which employees say are further tanking already low morale. In some cases, hiring managers are being asked to backfill formerly US-based roles with candidates from Eastern Europe to save money. Oracle is trying to cut $1 billion in costs and has already had two rounds of layoffs in recent months.
