In January, Bowman lost the support of the liberal pro-Israel group J Street over his rhetoric on Israel. When asked about Bowman's charge of racism, Latimer pointed to his appointment of Ken Jenkins, a Black man, as his deputy county executive. CNN —The sight of Tiger Woods wearing a red top and black trousers as he strode down the 18th fairway with throngs of adoring spectators following close behind is the stuff of sporting folklore. The color combination was Woods’ go-to outfit for the fourth and final day of a tournament, which regularly ended with him adding another trophy to his ever-expanding collection. “My mom thought, being a Capricorn, that [red] was my power color, or some BS thing like that, so I end up wearing red and end up winning some golf tournaments,” the 15-time major winner told Fallon. “It’s about athletes being first and designing something for the athlete so that we can perform at a higher level,” Woods said. The Securities and Exchange Commission's chair, Gary Gensler, recently warned about "AI washing," or companies giving off a false impression that they're using AI so they can amp up investors. And while some companies are simply exaggerating the tech they do legitimately use, others have taken it a step further. Most companies aren't being accused of breaking the law with their AI chatter, but they're definitely posturing around it. An analysis from Goldman Sachs found that 36% of S&P 500 companies mentioned AI in their fourth-quarter earnings calls, a record high. Even the Big Tech companies that are really moving and shaking in AI are on shifty ground at times.

Abandoned homesItalian village Patrica, located south of Rome, is struggling to offload its abandoned homes. Public callMany of the town's local families left in search of a brighter future elsewhere, leaving their homes empty for decades. Some of the houses are simply too neglected to sell, even if the owners were willing to agree to it. But the town’s ready-to-occupy homes, with two-bedroom properties starting at 20,000 euros ($21,832,) proved to be more appealing. “There is interest, but then when many (foreigners) actually see the bad shape of the old homes they’d prefer to opt for turn-key apartments that are already restyled or in need of just minor fixes,” says Grossi.

The Defense Department still has around $4 billion in presidential drawdown authority funds available for Ukraine, which allows the Pentagon to draw from its own stockpiles to send military equipment to Kyiv. But it would not be unprecedented for the Pentagon to find additional, unexpected sources of funding. Last year, the Defense Department announced that it had discovered an accounting error that led to DoD overvaluing the amount of aid it was providing to Ukraine by $6.2 billion. Asked on Tuesday whether the department was considering spending some of the remaining money, Pentagon press secretary Gen. Patrick Ryder said he had nothing to announce but that the Pentagon was continuing to explore ways to keep supporting Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told CNN this week that Ukraine will not win the war without continued US support.

Buying a car can be stressful, especially when you're negotiating with dealers armed with tricks designed to get you to spend more money. Wiener said that of all the negotiating mistakes that buyers make, one looms above the rest. "You never want to say what you're willing to pay per month," Wiener said. Rather than laying out how much money you're open to spending on your car payment, you should instead determine what the dealership is willing to sell you the car for. He gave the example of a client who wanted to buy a car and put $10,000 down with 0% financing.

In a sea of income-generating exchange-traded funds, BlackRock 's actively managed Flexible Income ETF (BINC) seeks to stand out with a multisector approach that balances high quality and high yield. "The way we built this portfolio is marrying high yield, investment-grade credit, agency mortgages and securitized [products]," Rieder said in an interview. Rieder said he's investing more in European high yield these days because of the strong U.S. dollar. "That is really attractive — and European high yield is cheaper than U.S.," he said. In U.S. high yield, single-B-rated debt is the most attractive, the investor said.
