They also found that ocean waters deeper than 2,000 meters (6,600 feet) have warmed four times faster than the rest of the global ocean. They are a vital part of global ocean circulation, transporting human-caused carbon pollution into the deep ocean where it remains for centuries, said Silvano. If this deep circulation weakens, “less carbon can be absorbed by the deep ocean, limiting the ability of the ocean to mitigate global warming,” Silvano told CNN. This cold, dense water also has a vital role in supplying oxygen to deep ocean waters.

Concurenții au prezentat arii și romanțe semnate de Alexei Stârcea și lucrări vocale din repertoriul muzical universal. Concursul s-a desfășurat în sala Palatului Republicii, fără public. Înmânarea Premiilor și Gala Laureaților din cadrul Concursului a avut loc la 2 aprilie 2021, fără spectatori dar cu aceleași emoții și atmosfera în care trăiește muzica și se valorifică talentele. Prezentă la eveniment, Viorica Tudos, Şef Departament Comunicare şi Relații Publice, Mobiasbanca – OTP Group, a menționat: „Suntem onorați să fim partenerul Filarmonicii Naţionale “Serghei Lunchevici” mai bine de cinci ani și să susținem Concursul Internațional de Canto Academic „Alexei Stârcea”, care perpetuă opera marelui compozitor și descoperă tinere talente. Felicitări participanților pentru dedicare, muncă și frumosul împărtășit cu noi!”Concursul reprezintă un tribut în memoria compozitorului, interpretului, pedagogului, Artistului Emerit al Republicii Moldova – Alexei Stârcea, având un statut internaţional șcare urmărește lansarea celor mai autentice talente din Republica Moldova, dar și de peste hotarele ei.
