Tim Walz, casting Vice President Kamala Harris’ new running mate as an agent of the far left. A top Trump adviser added: “Hamas Harris bent the knee to antisemitic, anti-Israel radicals on the left by leapfrogging Shapiro. “She outsmarted herself,” said Matt Gorman, a longtime Republican operative and veteran of presidential campaigns who is not working for the Trump campaign. “Many, many people said repeatedly that the reason Kamala Harris was going away from the Josh Shapiro selection is because they were worried about antisemitism. “To her credit, Kamala Harris put policy over politics by picking a radical liberal,” Taylor Budowich, the CEO for the Trump-aligned MAGA Inc. super PAC, said.

Violence broke out in several towns and cities across the country after three young girls were killed in a knife attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance party in the seaside town of Southport in northwest England last week. Amid false rumors that the suspect was a Muslim asylum seeker, mobs have since attacked hotels housing asylum seekers, as well as mosques, leading to hundreds of arrests. The suspect Axel Rudakubana, 17, was born in the Welsh capital of Cardiff and had lived for years in a village near Southport itself, police saidMusk's remarks were quickly rebuffed by Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s office, which said in a statement that such comments had “no justification.”In a separate video message posted to X, Starmer said: “Whatever the apparent motivation, this is not protest. This month, he said he was pulling his businesses out of California to protest a new state law that bars schools from requiring that trans kids be outed to their parents. The U.K. riots have become one of the first major challenges for Starmer, whose center-left Labour Party took power last month in a landslide election victory, ousting the Conservative Party, who after 14 years in government left office without dispute.

In Saudi Arabia, where we were living at the time, my two younger children received their rotavirus shots as their doctors recommended. And researchers at the National Institutes of Health in the US determined that the vaccine also “substantially reduced hospitalization and deaths in Africa.”The expectation was that many lives would be saved around the globe thanks to the rotavirus vaccine. London CNN —Social media has played a big role in fueling the anti-immigration riots engulfing towns and cities in the United Kingdom. Musk later apologized for what he called his “dumbest” ever social media post. The UK government this week vowed to prosecute “online criminality” and has pushed social media companies to take action against the spread of false information. “Social media has put rocket boosters under… not just the misinformation but the encouragement of violence,” UK Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said Monday. It is unclear that the UK government has the tools to hold social media platforms accountable for their role in the riots.

Last Friday afternoon, as the pubs in the northeastern English city of Sunderland were filling with young men, Lesley McLaren made a decision: She was closing up shop early. She had heard about the riots in Southport after three children there were killed in a stabbing attack. Now, she worried that trouble might be coming to her own city. “It’s too dangerous for him,” she said of Mr. Singh, adding, “because of the color of his skin.”Just hours later, a violent mob swept through the streets. Elsewhere in England and Northern Ireland the next day, people rioted in about a dozen other cities.

Wijeyakumar said Rahab's Daughters had distributed pamphlets ahead of the Paris Olympics at a local refugee camp. Rahab's Daughters has identified labor and sex trafficking occurring mainly within the manufacturing, construction, retail, and hospitality industries in Paris. The US National Human Trafficking Hotline explains on its website, however, that human trafficking is "notoriously underreported." These figures are based on interviews with survivors, reports Rahab's Daughters has received, and data it has collected from online ads.
