Penguin Solutions could be a breakout player in the expanding artificial intelligence boom, according to Goldman Sachs. The Wall Street investment bank on Friday initiated coverage of the enterprise AI company, which changed its name from SMART Global Holdings last month , with a buy rating and a $21 per share price target. A Montana camper whose mutilated body was found in a forest last month was brutally killed by a stranger he welcomed to his campsite and offered a beer, the authorities said this week, a gesture they contend ultimately led to the killer’s arrest. The stranger, Daren Christopher Abbey, 41, of Basin, Mont., who was working in construction in the Big Sky area of southern Montana, was arrested on Saturday after the authorities linked his DNA to that found on a beer can on the floor of a tent belonging to the victim, Dustin Kjersem, 35, according to court records. Mr. Abbey confessed on Tuesday to killing Mr. Kjersem, 35, and was later charged with deliberate homicide, Dan Springer, the sheriff of Gallatin County said at a news conference on Thursday. Mr. Abbey encountered Mr. Kjersem by chance, the authorities said, noting that they still didn’t know the motive for the killing and that the investigation could continue for months.

Pentagon leaders believe those losses are a conservative estimate, leading the U.S. Space Force to kick off a roughly $2 billion satellite program known as the Resilient Global Positioning System. Called R-GPS for short, the program is intended to provide an alternative, backup network for the current satellite system. In the event that Trump wins, staffers detailed to the special counsel’s office would have the option to go back to their home divisions within the Justice Department. But former prosecutors on the Trump case could face a difficult workplace, once Trump’s appointees are running the department. If Vice President Kamala Harris wins, the choices for the department and the special counsel’s office may be much simpler. “Just think of the chaos of it all – that, he [Trump] would love,” one of the former Justice Department officials said.
