A multinational team involving marine mammal care experts from Oceanogràfic de Valencia, the largest oceanarium in Europe; Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta; and SeaWorld were involved in the high-risk journey. The pair of belugas – a 15-year-old male named Plombir and a 14-year-old female called Miranda – arrived in “delicate health” Tuesday evening after a “grueling journey,” according to Georgia Aquarium. “The city is facing increasing threat from artillery fire, which has intensified in recent weeks, with bombs dropping within a few hundred meters of the aquarium,” Georgia Aquarium said in a press release. CNN —Former President Donald Trump will get the final word when he debates President Joe Biden on CNN next week, after a coin flip to determine podium placement and the order of closing statements. Trump’s campaign then chose for the former president to deliver the last closing statement, which means Biden will go first at the conclusion of the debate. Biden and Trump are set to make history on June 27 in the first presidential debate between an incumbent and a former president. For Trump, delivering the final closing statement in CNN’s debate is a notable difference from his New York criminal trial and conviction last month. The debate qualification window closed just after midnight Thursday, with only Biden and Trump meeting the constitutional, polling and ballot qualification requirements CNN laid out in May.

CNN —Caitlin Clark’s double-double helped the Indiana Fever beat the Washington Mystics 88-81 on Wednesday in Indianapolis to win their third straight. Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell had a team-high 22 points each and both shot a supremely efficient 72.7% from the floor. It’s the first time since 2015 that the Fever have enjoyed a four-game home winning streak. “Whenever they went on a run, we always found a way to respond,” Clark told NBA TV of the team’s resilience.
