In conversations with nearly a dozen Democratic lawmakers and candidates running in competitive races across the country, a common theme emerged. Tim Walz, Democrats have felt a tangible bump of energy in their districts, through spikes in volunteers, donations and event turnout. Rep. Chris Deluzio, who supports Harris, told CNN he was glad to see that she has moved away from her previous position on fracking. The Republican campaign arm has seized on some of her past positions from his first presidential run, including fracking, as they’ve attempted to develop a strategy to target Democrats in tough races. PARIS — Olympic boxing champion Imane Khelif has filed a legal complaint in France for online harassment after a rain of criticism and false claims about her sex during the Paris Olympics, her lawyer said Sunday. The complaint was filed Friday with a special unit in the Paris prosecutor’s office for combating online hate speech, alleging “aggravated cyber-harassment” targeting Khelif, lawyer Nabil Boudi said. In a statement, he described it as a “misogynist, racist and sexist campaign” against the boxer. As is common in French law, the complaint doesn’t name an alleged perpetrator but leaves it to investigators to determine who could be at fault. False claims that Khelif was transgender or a man erupted online, and the International Olympic Committee defended her and denounced those peddling misinformation.

The only certainty about Summer Olympics weather is that there’s really no certainty at all. In other words, holding the Summer Games in these cities would be a huge health risk for the athletes. The Games held in 1996 in Atlanta simply wouldn’t be possible in 2050. They may not againSome of the cities that have already hosted the Summer Games will be way beyond safe temperatures by 2050. Schmitt's example may be extreme, but mold damage is not unusual. In 2022, water damage, including mold, represented 27.6% of homeowners insurance losses, according to data from Insurance Services Office, an industry group. Despite the award for the owner of the mold-damaged home later being reduced to $4 million, companies still pulled back on mold coverage. "Mold claims won't be covered if it's a result of neglect, such as pipe leaking for months resulting in water damage and mold." "You should always read your insurance policy and understand what you have, but no one's going to do that," Kochenburger said.

Kaushik's fixed rate period is seven years, which means that after 2029, the rate could change based on market conditions. Around 90% of women experience menopausal symptoms, which can include hot flashes, sleep disturbances, mood alterations and weight gain. Some 94% of US women reported never being taught about menopause at school, according to a 2023 study. Most women go into menopause between ages 40 and 58, with the average age of experiencing menopause being 51, according to the North American Menopause Society. Last year, the US Food and Drug Administration approved a medication, fezolinetant, specifically for use in reducing hot flashes. However, studies have shown that many providers are not trained to provide the full range of options for menopause treatment.

On her captivating show "Couple's Therapy," Orna Guralnik attempts to ferry partnerships through conflict to resolution. Sometimes that means finding common ground. Other times it means dissolving the relationship. Guralnik, who is a New York-based clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst, says one of the most crucial parts of her job is helping people better communicate and listen, two acts that should go hand-in-hand but can often distract from one another. There is one specific conversation Guralnik says "people spend so much time" on but is never productive: "When people approach a conversation with the idea that what they need to do is convince their partner that what they are saying is not true, it's going to be a bad conversation that is basically going to go nowhere."
