Long Covid continues to evade a clear diagnostic test, researchers reported in a study published Monday in the Annals of Internal Medicine. They found no differences between those with long Covid and those without the condition. Different symptoms were assigned different scores, and a long Covid diagnosis was met if the score reached a level of 12. There was no time cutoff for symptoms and a positive Covid test was not required for diagnosis. CNN —Donald Trump’s campaign, which has whiffed in its early attacks on Kamala Harris’ new presidential campaign, will grapple this week for a more effective foothold after the vice president transformed an election of stunning surprises.
