South Carolina doesn’t tax Social Security benefits, which are outrageously taxed by the federal government and most blue states. And my property taxes are about 90 percent lower than they would be in the New York City area.

Bencic said she was hampered by the issue during the WTA Tour's U.S. swing, which included her run to the Charleston Open final where she lost to Ons Jabeur in straight sets. Bencic won the Adelaide International 2 title in January and Abu Dhabi Open the following month.
