Yorke was playing a show in Melbourne, Australia as part of a solo tour when, according to multiple videos captured by concertgoers, a man yelled: "Do you condemn the Israeli genocide of Gaza? On stage, Yorke replied: "Come up here and say that." Yorke, 56, is on a solo tour while Radiohead is on a lengthy hiatus. A car crashed into Madame ZuZu’s, a popular suburban tea shop owned by Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, on Wednesday, officials said, leaving his mother-in-law injured. The crash happened around 12 p.m. at 1876 First St. in Highland Park, authorities said in a public safety alert. “Community members are asked to please avoid the block of First St. between Central Ave. & Elm Pl.,” the alert stated. “Our family is grateful for the swift assistance of the Highland Park and Deerfield first responders,” her statement read. Madame ZuZu’s will be closed “until further notice.”

— A Washington state man who pleaded guilty to killing at least 118 eagles as part of a wildlife trafficking ring that operated on a Native American Reservation in Montana faces sentencing Thursday before a federal judge. The trafficking ring sold eagle feathers and parts on a black market that exploits high demand among tribal members who use them in powwows and other ceremonies. The defendant and others killed at least 107 hawks and as many as 3,600 birds overall, prosecutors said. It’s illegal to buy or sell eagle feathers or other parts. Branson made between $180,000 and $360,000 from 2009 to 2021 selling bald and golden eagle parts illegally, court records said.
