I've loved the Caribbean but I'm more interested in other ports now that I've been on 50+ cruises. Although I still love these ports, they've lost their appeal to me now that I've been on more than 50 cruises. Sailing through the Norwegian fjords is one of my favorite cruise experiences to date — the breathtaking views surrounds the ship in all directions, offering endless photo opportunities. So, no matter the itinerary, I now tend to book lengthier sailings — ideally ones longer than a week. ☆ Florida gas stations are running out of fuel as people flee Hurricane Milton

Nearly 16% of gas stations in Florida had run out of fuel as of late morning Tuesday as people flee north to escape the path of Hurricane Milton, according to data from GasBuddy. About 1,200 of the state's 7,900 gas stations are currently without fuel, according to the data. The storm is forecast to remain "an extremely dangerous hurricane" through landfall in Florida, according to the forecasters. Gas stations are running out of fuel and lines are long but there is not a shortage in the state, DeSantis said. Terminals with power, however, could begin distribution of fuel Saturday and Sunday depending on worker and truck driver availability as well as whether local gas stations are working, he said.

The head of Britain's domestic spy agency on Tuesday accused Russian military intelligence of being on a "sustained mission" to cause mayhem in Britain and Europe. The spy chief said the agency was having to deal with a "dizzying range" of beliefs and ideologies, citing risks posed by Russia, Iran, China and others. McCallum said the number of state threat investigations MI5 is running had jumped 48% in the last year. He said the GRU — Russian military intelligence — in particular was on "a sustained mission to generate mayhem on British and European streets: we've seen arson, sabotage and more." "This goes well beyond all historical precedent – and has put a big dent in the Russian intelligence services' ability to cause damage in the West," he added.
