CNBC's Jim Cramer shared his assessment of Delta Air Lines stock, which reported a revenue miss on Thursday. Management reported robust summer travel demand, with CEO Ed Bastian saying on the earnings call that TSA travel volumes were up 7% from the year-earlier period. Wuhan is the largest operational region for Baidu's Apollo Go, one of the largest robotaxi operators in China. CNBC was unable to independently verify the document, which claimed the taxi company had to stop operating four of its 159-car fleet since April due to falling income. China had more than 7 million registered ride-hailing drivers as of the end of May, according to the Ministry of Transport. But a Republican win yielded a higher return at 15.3%. The S&P 500 fell 9% in 2000 as the tech bubble peaked months before George W. Bush's Republican win. This could increase the chances of a Trump win — at least, that's what the market thinks. The two graphs below from a Goldman Sachs note on July 8 indicate what prediction markets perceive as each candidate's odds of winning following the debate. They also generally like to examine "core" inflation readings. The monthly core CPI reading was 0.1% in June, the smallest increase in about three years, since August 2021. Shelter inflation has moderated much slower than expected, one of the big reasons inflation hasn't yet fallen back to target, economists said. There were encouraging signals in the latest CPI report: Monthly shelter inflation dropped to 0.2% after being stuck at 0.4% for four consecutive months. What I am hearing from congressional Democrats about President Biden is this: He has done little to nothing to allay their fears. The caucus meetings House and Senate Democrats held this week were an airing of grievances and despair, but they didn’t chart a path forward. What they need is a process through which they can gather the information they need to make a final decision. There are two main camps among congressional Democrats. Representative Jerry Nadler, the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, is among those who told his colleagues that Biden should step aside.

Let's start with a longer-term chart of Morgan Stanley (MS) , which reports on July 16. A breakout above this level would be a clear bullish signal, with earnings as the catalyst. Morgan Stanley has been investing in building out its wealth management business for years and it now accounts for more than 51% of its revenue. The trade With low implied volatility, options on Morgan Stanley are relatively inexpensive. The charts indicate the ETF could be nearing a substantial breakout attempt. The ETF is comprised of five industries: financial services (33%), banks (26%) capital markets (21%), insurance (16%) and consumer finance (4%). Daily Bullish Pattern First, here's the daily chart. The SPX finally eclipsed its 2007 high in 2013; the XLF reclaimed its 2007 high in 2021, but that didn't hold. Putting it all together, a successful daily pattern breakout also would help the much bigger weekly pattern break out, which would finally create distance from the 2007 high and prompt a multi-decade breakout.

That pullback has materialized and according to our Elliott Wave analysis of the bitcoin chart, support has possibly been formed in the zone of $59k - $49k. Looking at the 3-chart overlay below you'll find bitcoin, gold, and US 10-year yields since 2020. First is that gold and Bitcoin (blue and orange) have a very close positive correlation. Pulling it all together higher rates have a negative impact on all three; bitcoin, gold, and the stock market, which are all showing a positive relationship in recent months. In summary, being very bullish on the stock market, I would like to see bitcoin and gold move higher along with lower US yields.

How Emmanuel Macron blew his legacy

He’s now staring at what will certainly be his real legacy: Macron opened the door to the far right in France. CNBC's Jim Cramer on Monday said the charts suggest that the Dow Jones Industrial Average will see gains later this summer because the index usually rallies in August during election years, no matter which candidate is leading in the polls. "The charts, as interpreted by Larry Williams, suggest that the Dow almost always rallies in August — what a takeaway — of any given election year ... regardless of who's ahead," he said, noting that August is usually a poor month for the market. "That's exactly the kind of pattern that you can make some money with." He also stressed that both candidates have different convictions when it comes to economic policy, and those differences will affect significant parts of the market. To explain Williams' analysis, Cramer examined a chart of the Dow's performance this year with its average performance during every election year since 1968.

Despite the pullback, a primary uptrend remains in place for the CAC 40, in addition to the related iShares MSCI France ETF (EWQ) . Both proxies for French stocks appear to be finding their footing, which suggests that the market is welcoming the latest news regarding the election. Once the final outcome is determined, it would be natural for investors to respond favorably to the removal of uncertainty, particularly given the oversold status of French stocks. This suggests a counter-trend phase of outperformance is possible for French stocks versus U.S. stocks. Recent stabilization in many French stocks shows a positive reaction to widespread intermediate-term oversold conditions, which we gauge using the weekly stochastic oscillator.

We also had a family history of breast cancer in common, but her mother, who'd been diagnosed in her 20s, had caught it early and survived. And most important of all, on a scale of one to infinity, how relieved did she feel now that breast cancer was no longer a threat? I'm always on the lookout for stocks with ideal technical set-ups, and my favorite one is a chart with a long-term uptrend and short-term pullback. I actually call this setup a "fat pitch" chart. So when a chart is in a primary uptrend, and then has a decent pullback to make a higher low, this fat pitch chart can often provide a fantastic "buy on the dips" opportunity. We can also see that the RSI is currently just above the 40 level, which tells us that the price momentum remains fairly bullish despite the recent price pullback. BEFORE MAKING ANY FINANCIAL DECISIONS, YOU SHOULD STRONGLY CONSIDER SEEKING ADVICE FROM YOUR OWN FINANCIAL OR INVESTMENT ADVISOR.
