The Sapphire Terrace isn't exactly a lounge — in fact, it's not at all part of the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club network. This isn't a short-term space; Chase says it will be a multiyear experience available at no charge to Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholders and up to two guests. Hopefully, since it's only accessible to Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholders, it will have a more elite feel. FBI/Handout via REUTERSWASHINGTON, March 1 (Reuters) - A man was arrested and charged with attempting to place an explosive or incendiary device on an aircraft after his bag triggered an alarm at Lehigh Valley International Airport in Pennsylvania, U.S. authorities said on Wednesday. The FBI said that Mark Muffley, 40, from Lansford, Pennsylvania, checked a suitcase on Monday for a flight that was heading to Sanford, Florida. "FBI and local law enforcement bomb technicians determined that the item was indeed a live explosive device," a TSA spokesperson said. The airport said it had closed a part of its main terminal briefly on Monday while authorities probed the suspicious package.
An "unruly" passenger aboard an American Airlines flight forced an emergency landing this week. The traveler allegedly rushed at the cockpit after she couldn't get a cocktail, according to reports. "I started freaking out because so many people started getting up on me," Miles told the news outlet. However, law enforcement ultimately dismissed the charge against Miles following an investigation, the airport told Insider on Friday. The FBI told Insider "no further action is planned unless additional information or evidence comes to light."
