In her suit, Priscilla said they were introduced by a mutual connection who said Kruse wanted to discuss her business selling Elvis memorabilia. In the days before the auction, Priscilla did media interviews explaining why she was endorsing it.

New York CNN —The Mirage Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip is closing Wednesday, ending 34 years in business. It will reopen in 2027 as Hard Rock Las Vegas, with a soaring 700-foot-tall hotel tower in the shape of a guitar, similar to its Florida property. Architects told CNN affiliate KSNV-TV that the tropical design created by Wynn was meant to resemble an oasis in the chaotic Las Vegas Strip. MGM Resorts bought the Mirage from Wynn in 2000 and sold it in 2022 for more than $1 billion to Hard Rock International. It’s the second time Hard Rock will have a presence in Las Vegas, with the brand previously owning the now-Virgin Hotel off the Strip.

The president will tape an interview with the NBC News anchor Lester Holt on Monday in Austin, Texas, the network said on Wednesday. When the counties are sorted by index rank, Iroquois County, Illinois is the least difficult market to buy a home, according to the NBC News Home Buyer Index. Economic Instability: Macon County, Tennessee has the most stable local economy among measured areas. And finally, economic instability considers an area's market volatility, unemployment levels and interest rates. CNN —Lawyers for Donald Trump asked the New York judge who ordered the former president to pay nearly half a billion dollars to recuse himself from the case alleging the judge engaged in “prohibited communications” with a real estate lawyer about the case before issuing his decision. Trump’s attorneys said if Judge Arthur Engoron would not recuse from the case they are seeking an evidentiary hearing to delve into the judge’s reported conversation with New York real estate lawyer Adam Bailey. The judge is still overseeing a monitor who he put in place to oversee the Trump Organization’s finances. The NBC article was published in May, months after Engoron issued his $454 million judgement against Trump in February. Bailey told NBC he spoke with Engoron before the judge issued his decision in the case.

Airbnb disputed Hernandez’s claims, saying that it continues to enforce against members of dangerous or extremist organizations. CNN —Celine Dion is sharing details about how difficult her life has become as she lives with stiff person syndrome. The spasms can attack different parts of her body, including her abdomen, spine and ribs, she said. “I have broken ribs at one point because sometimes when it’s very severe, it can break some ribs as well,” the Grammy-winner shared. The disorder is “a rare, progressive syndrome that affects the nervous system, specifically the brain and spinal cord,” according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. That is also the focus of an upcoming documentary, “I Am: Celine Dion,” set to stream on Prime Video on June 25.

After NBC News contacted X about the hashtags, 12 of 50 hashtags appeared to be blocked. Of the 50 reviewed hashtags, searches on X for 45 of them returned recent racist or antisemitic posts. On TikTok, 10 of the 50 hashtags returned racist or antisemitic posts, with the rest either blocked or producing other content.

The storms have also disrupted the famed motor race, causing delays, evacuations and the satellite outage. “During pre-race coverage, severe weather impacted our signal and temporarily interrupted our feed,” an NBC Sports spokesperson told CNN in a statement. “Rain so heavy it took out the NBC satellite uplink from the Indy 500. But the Indianapolis Motor Speedway said Sunday that the blackout was lifted because of the upheaval.

A generic high blood pressure drug has become the most commonly prescribed oral medication to treat acne in women, overtaking antibiotics and birth control pills, a new report from Epic Research shows. Prescriptions for oral antibiotics — previously the go-to pill for acne — decreased from 41% to 27% in the same time period. While the drug was approved as a high blood pressure medication in 1960, it was in the 1980s that some doctors began prescribing it to women for acne. Birth control pills can also be an effective treatment for this type of acne, and indeed, can be prescribed by dermatologists for this reason. However, prescriptions of birth control for acne also fell from 2017 to 2023, Epic Research found.
