A judge in Atlanta set a Friday morning hearing for Harrison Floyd, a co-defendant in former President Donald Trump's election interference case in Georgia who has been held in custody since Thursday afternoon. ET before Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, court records show. Floyd, like most of the 19 co-defendants in Atlanta District Attorney Fani Willis' sprawling RICO case, surrendered at Fulton County jail this week ahead of a Friday deadline. Floyd did not do this and therefore "is in custody at the Fulton County Jail," the Fulton County Sheriff's Office said in a statement Thursday. The sheriff's office did not immediately respond to CNBC's request on Floyd's status earlier Friday morning.

CNN —Rudy Giuliani and several other Trump co-defendants in the Georgia election subversion case are expected to surrender to Fulton County jail on Wednesday, multiple sources tell CNN. Sources told CNN that Giuliani wants to get it all done before former President Donald Trump comes to Georgia. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has charged Trump and 18 others of participating in schemes to meddle with Georgia’s election results. CNN previously reported that Giuliani was set to meet with Willis’ Wednesday to discuss a bond agreement, according to multiple sources. Giuliani is expected to have a lawyer with a Georgia license to represent him during the bond negotiations, according to a second source.

CNN —A federal judge on Wednesday rejected efforts by former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and ex-Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark to avoid arrest if they fail to turn themselves in by Friday’s deadline in the Georgia election subversion case. US District Judge Steve Jones declined the emergency requests by Meadows and Clark, who are both trying to move Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ prosecution to federal court. Meadows argued he should be allowed to avoid processing in the Fulton County election subversion case that has been brought against former President Donald Trump and 18 others ahead of a hearing scheduled Monday. Such rulings would require state court proceedings for entire case – for all the defendants – to automatically be paused and moved to federal court, Clark argued in court filings earlier this week.
