They say the lack of water from Mexico is propelling them into crisis, leaving the future of farming in the balance. Pain in both countriesThe water from Mexico goes to the Falcon and Amistad Reservoirs which straddle the border and provide water to homes as well and farms. To rely only on storms to reduce water scarcity would make Mexico “totally exposed to what nature decides about our water future,” UNAM’s Magnaña Rueda said. The Vitamin Shoppe reported a 10% sales bump in ready-to-drink protein beverages in 2023 versus the prior year. Wright expects the customer base for weight loss products to triple as more Americans try to lose weight. CNN —After a successful launch that was a decade in the making, Boeing’s Starliner mission is navigating new issues en route to the International Space Station, according to NASA. The space agency said late Wednesday in a post on X that two additional helium leaks had been detected on the vehicle. “Teams have identified three helium leaks on the spacecraft. “Looks like we picked up a couple more helium leaks,” mission control told the astronauts, as heard on the broadcast. It is still unclear what the impact of the leaks will be, but all indications are that the plan is still for Starliner to dock at the International Space Station on Thursday.
