The Gym Pod has 140,000 registered app users worldwide with interest growing after the pandemic. According to Bloomberg, it has 120,000 registered users in Singapore. Another company, My Gym Lab, also founded in Singapore, offers small spaces it calls labs across the city. The Gym Pod is hoping to expand into international markets and will be launching its first pod in China in the coming weeks, the spokesperson said.

Federal prosecutors asked a judge on Thursday to remove five charges against alleged crypto fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried, including bribery of a foreign government official, after a Bahamas court ruling cast doubt on whether the U.S. government had followed the correct procedure for bringing the charges against the former billionaire. Bankman-Fried's legal team had previously argued before both U.S. and Bahamanian judges that the charges were not part of the FTX founder's original indictment under which he had been extradited from the Bahamas months earlier. A Bahamian judge said they would review Bankman-Fried's arguments earlier this week, prompting the request from federal prosecutors. The severance means that Bankman-Fried's legal team will likely now have to gird for two legal fights: one to try the original eight-count indictment later this year, and another in 2024, for the five counts that federal prosecutors have asked to sever. About two miles from downtown Denver, the yellows, oranges and reds of a spray-painted mural fill the cracked, gray cement wall of a building that houses a temporary employment agency. The mural rises about 20 feet and depicts an expressionless Nikola Jokic next to a much more emotive Jamal Murray, his eyes narrowed and arms extended as though he is wielding a bow and arrow. Thomas Evans, a 38-year-old artist, finished the mural of the two Denver Nuggets stars recently as the team prepared to begin the N.B.A. He said the mural inspired him and some collaborators to write the song as a tribute to Jokic. James is the biggest star in the N.B.A., with four championship rings, piles of endorsement deals and a constant presence on social media and television.

NEW YORK, May 15 (Reuters) - A former civilian employee at a U.S. Army facility in South Korea has been arrested on charges of receiving $400,000 in kickbacks from military contractors, federal prosecutors in Manhattan said on Monday. Young Beom Kim, 62, was responsible for overseeing construction contracts at the Army Garrison Yongsan-Casey from 2017 to 2021. Kim, a U.S. citizen and resident of South Korea, pleaded not guilty to six counts of wire fraud, bribery and money laundering. Prosecutors also say he received kickbacks from a South Korea-based supplier of parts manufactured by U.S. and Chinese companies.
