Nine people are dead after a driver crashed into a canal Monday night in western Palm Beach County, officials said. According to a crash report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the driver failed to negotiate a left curve, resulting in the 2023 Ford Explorer veering onto the grass shoulder and hitting the guardrail before finally overturning into the canal. Palm Beach County police officers on the scene of the crash on Monday night. WPTV“We have one survivor for a total of 10 victims,” the sheriff’s office said. “The Devil,” a U.S. fugitive who was featured on “America’s Most Wanted,” has been captured in Mexico, the United States Marshals Service said. Antonio Riano, 62, was arrested Thursday in his hometown of Zapotitlan Palmas, State of Oaxaca, Mexico, officials said, where he was found to be working an ironic job. “When Riano was arrested in Mexico he was found to be working as a local police officer,” the agency said in a press release on Thursday. Afterwards, he fled the United States allegedly to avoid prosecution. After being captured, Riano was flown from Mexico City to Cincinnati, then transported to the Butler County Jail.

Tropical Storm Debby has strengthened into a Category 1 hurricane ahead of its anticipated landfall on Florida's Gulf Coast on Monday, U.S. forecasters said late Friday. The hurricane was about 65 miles west of Cedar Key, Florida, and about 100 miles west of Tampa, and moving north at about 12 mph, the center said. Debby is expected to continue strengthening before it reaches the Big Bend coast on Monday, weakening after it moves inland across northern Florida and southern Georgia, it said. The company's revenue fell nearly 3% to $29.69 billion compared to the same period last year. Revenue from the content and experiences segment, which includes the NBCUniversal TV business, theme parks and Universal Pictures, was down 7.5% to $10.06 billion. However, NBCUniversal's TV business offset the segment, posting $6.32 billion in revenue, up 2% from last year. Comcast shed 419,000 cable TV customers during the quarter.
