At the same time, the brand's popularity may have peaked and is "on the way out," teens said in the firm's annual survey. While Stanley's multi-colored insulated cups still have considerable caché, upper-income teens told Piper Sander that the products could soon see the same fate as skinny jeans. Upper-income male teens surveyed ranked Stanley cups as their fifth-most fashion trend on the way out. Keith told Business Insider the survey's fashion trend question is open-ended, meaning that respondents are not prompted by a list of options. "They really kind of struck gold with these larger, thick cups, with the handle and a straw," Keith told BI.

He lives on a farm, and says farm work shows his sons delayed gratification. I continued to build my real estate portfolio, and also created software to support others in the real estate business. I invest in real estate and run multiple companies, including a real estate investing course that uses software I developed. Polling has consistently found that Biden is a drag on Harris' candidacy and that voters are eager for a new direction. But Harris has been reluctant to be critical of Biden by outright critiquing his presidency. Harris would seek to distance herself from Biden somewhat delicately, likely giving the White House a heads up before doing so, three of the people familiar with the discussions said. Just hours after her interview on “The View,” Harris faced the same type of question by Stephen Colbert, who asked what major changes would be clear in a potential Harris administration and what might stay the same. Harris delivered a similar answer during her debate with Trump last month, which Biden took particular note of, NBC News has reported.

Simmons also wrote that the vice president eats a healthy diet and engages in regular daily aerobics and core strength training. Harris' last medical exam in April was "unremarkable," Simmons said, adding that all of her routine exams and bloodwork were "normal." The report noted Harris' skin was "normal apart from mild sun damage in sun-exposed areas." Presidential candidates typically release their medical records, and presidents tend to have annual exams. This is the first time Harris' medical records have been made public.

“I had never seen a letter like that before and had no idea what having dense breasts even meant,” said Mullen, 38, of Andover, Massachusetts. Dense tissue makes it harder to find breast cancer on a mammogram; and that dense breast tissue is a risk factor for cancer. You've got dense breasts. “You cannot counsel an entire population of women with dense breasts with one policy that’s going to be appropriate for everybody,” Pearlman said. Although it’s true that women with dense breasts are 1.5 to 2 times more likely than other women to develop breast cancer, they’re no more likely to die from it.

The man who died in a Colorado mine elevator accident was a 46-year-old father and tour guide there, officials said Friday as investigators try to understand what exactly occurred. The man killed was identified as Patrick Weier, who worked as a tour guide at the mine. Weier had a 7-year-old son and lived in Victor, a community of less than 400 in the area, officials said. Mikesell said the state does safety inspections and an official from that agency was on scene after the accident Thursday. “I know it has passed its safety inspections,” Mikesell said, but he did not have the dates during Friday’s news conference.

The CDC randomly inspects and scores cruise ships to prevent the spread of stomach viruses. The 11 dirtiest ships this year so far scored 89 or less, including one that received 62 points. For cruise ships, scoring an 85 out of 100 on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Vessel Sanitation Program review is considered a failure. The CDC has reported 10 bacterial and viral outbreaks on cruise ships since the start of 2024. The CDC checks cruise ships for details such as how frequently the pool's hair and lint strainer is disinfected.

Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris arrives for a campaign event at the Dort Financial Center in Flint, Michigan, October 4, 2024. Vice President Kamala Harris is in "excellent health" and "possesses the physical and mental resiliency" required to serve as president, her doctor said in a letter released Saturday that summarizes her medical history and status. As Harris' office released the medical report, her campaign highlighted recent media reports raising questions about Trump's health and mental acuity and his failure to provide information about health status and medical history. Since Biden was replaced on the ticket with Harris, Trump's own health has drawn more attention. Last November, Trump marked Biden's birthday by releasing a letter from his physician that reported the former president was in "excellent" physical and mental health.

Four sources have told CNN that the Israeli cabinet has not adopted the siege proposal put forward by retired general Giora Eiland. Eiland last month proposed forcing all civilians out of northern Gaza, including Gaza City, and then cutting off all supplies to the area. The World Food Programme told CNN on Friday that no food trucks had entered northern Gaza since the start of the month. Palestinians in northern Gaza say that this week has brought some of the most intense military action of the war. CNN —Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is expected to release a report Saturday detailing her medical history and health information, a senior aide said. His July exit from the race opened the door for Democrats to go on offense on a biographical contrast that they’d previously sought to downplay. Trump has not released his actual medical records, and memos about his health in the past have often used hyperbolic language. Harris has never before released her medical records. She has said on social media that her late mother Shyamala Gopalan Harris – who died of colon cancer in 2009 – worked as a breast cancer researcher, and has advocated for breast cancer screening.

With rising costs, stagnant salaries, and the pressures of social media, financial anxiety among young adults is at an all-time high. According to Time Magazine, there is growing evidence linking financial anxiety to negative physical and mental health outcomes. As a financial planner, I have five ways young adults can overcome their financial anxiety. One way to reduce financial anxiety about the future is by planning ahead. We see our peers going on trips or buying things we can't afford, which only feeds into our financial anxiety.

This is while S&P 500 valuations remain high, putting the market at risk for big declines. In a September note, Wolfenbarger shared the below chart from Bank of America showing 19 of 20 valuation measures they monitor as being overvalued. That means the S&P 500 would have to fall 60% just to return to the historical average. But it's still unclear how accurate the September jobs data is. Future revisions and further lackluster jobs data could resume investor fears that a downturn is a serious potential threat.

Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, three abortion clinics have opened in Carbondale. “You can’t have protests on the steps of the Supreme Court,” he said. While Republicans don’t need to win Nevada to flip the Senate, the state could help dictate the size of a GOP majority. Rosen told NBC News before addressing the Culinary Union that voters have a “clear choice” in the Senate race. “I think Sam Brown is just too extreme, and I want to continue being that pragmatic problem solver, that bipartisan senator who gets results for Nevada,” Rosen said. “It’s a massively missed opportunity,” said one Nevada Republican operative who requested anonymity to speak candidly about party strategy. DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Bracing itself for a retaliatory strike for last week’s ballistic missile attack, Iran has been urging its Arab neighbors not to allow Israel to use their airspace as part of any potential attack, two diplomats from Gulf nations told NBC News Friday. Israel has vowed to respond to the strikes and while the nature and timing of the attack remain unclear, Iran warned countries that do help Israel in any way could potentially become part of a war, one of the diplomats said. His death came days after several Hezbollah leaders were killed by exploding pagers and walkie-talkies, an attack which Israel was widely believed to have been behind. Both militant groups are backed by Tehran and Pezeshkian has portrayed Iran as “exercising restraint” because it waited for two months after Haniyeh's death before launching the attack on Israel. When the family asked the funeral home about the mix up, they claim the funeral home denied it.
