CNBC's Jim Cramer said Friday there are stocks and sectors that would benefit if Donald Trump were to become president again. If you think Trump will win the White House, Cramer said, "That means you can go buy the banks. That means you can go buy the natural gas and energy stocks," as well as Big Tech. Cramer also said Tesla might fare better under Trump and Biden because Trump is not pro-union. China Trump has said he would be even tougher on China if he were re-elected.

Following Thursday's trade, Jim Cramer's Charitable Trust will own 350 shares of NXT with a weighting of about 0.5%. It's the "backbone" of any solar power system, as management would say. It's why we are starting this position on the smaller side, leaving plenty of room to scale over time. If the stock can trade up to 18 times the high end of its full-year earnings guidance, the stock will trade at $55. Last week, it announced it paid $119 million to buy Ojjo, a renewable energy company specializing in foundation technology and services used in utility-scale ground-mount applications for solar power generation.

While the regional wildlife coordinator for Wyoming Game and Fish supported the proposal, Ricketts' neighbors were another story, the Nebraska Examiner said. That's what I kind of equate it to," one local told The Daily Beast about Ricketts at the time. "That's just not something that's ever going to be well received, whether it was Mr. Ricketts or the next billionaire with a big dream and a big plan." And in the end, Ricketts is getting his big dream and big plan — just not when he wants it. According to estimates at the town meeting, the hotel will now take six years to build rather than three.

TikTok has officially launched its e-commerce service TikTok Shop in the U.S.TikTok on Thursday announced it will launch a U.S. summer sale dubbed "Deals for You Days," which is positioned to compete with Amazon 's annual Prime Day. Starting July 9, TikTok Shop will be offering sales on thousands of items, including clothing, beauty products, books and decor. The announcement comes just two days after Amazon revealed that its annual Prime Day mega sale will take place on July 16-17 this year. The success of Prime Day, which Amazon introduced in 2015, has pushed several other retailers to hold competing sales. The social media platform first introduced the TikTok Shop in September 2023 as an in-app shopping experience, capitalizing on the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt trend.

Summer break also looks a lot different for my kids than my summers going to Camp Mohawk in upstate New York used to. Here are three key differences I've noticed between summer break for kids in the UK vs the US. Summer camp culture looks very different in the UKThe UK isn't immune to US influences, but summer camp culture hasn't quite made it over here yet. For the final week of summer break, we visited my sister and her family in Munich. He’s going to be a killer rebounder, monster screener and will consistently establish his position even against some of the stronger NBA players. I’m done doubting Edey, even as an NBA player. As an enormous ballhandler with serious touch and incredible vision as a passer, Topić is clearly an NBA player, even if it doesn’t all translate. Shannon is an elite athlete, but the NBA game requires more nuance, especially if he continues to be an inconsistent shooter. However, I also think he’s more than just a floor spacer on offense in spot-up situations and potentially as an off-ball scorer.

Across the planet, basalt rock deposits on the sea floor have the potential to trap carbon dioxide, removing the heat-trapping gas from our atmosphere. First, the scientists need about $60 million to test a prototype at sea. Basalt rock is highly reactive, full of metals that readily grab CO2 and chemically combine with it to form carbonate minerals. AdvertisementSolid Carbon scientists say carbon rock is stuck on the sea floor for thousands of years. They also argue that in the ocean, there's plenty of room to scale up and little risk of disgruntled neighbors fighting the project.

Apple 's commitment to privacy could soon pay off by giving it a leg up over its competitors, according to Rosenblatt. That's because Apple, unlike AI predecessors, has put privacy front and center as part of its AI marketing push and architecture," Crockett wrote. "Apple laid out what it called a Private Cloud Compute architecture that keeps personal information on personal devices, and does not allow non-permissioned release of that information to anyone else, including Apple and third party LLMs," he added. An additional advantage for Apple comes from its AI approach, which allows the firm some immunity from cost pressures at hyperscalers. Against this backdrop, Crockett sees the scales "tipping the AI risk/reward in favor of Apple."
