CNBC's Jim Cramer on Tuesday suggested that the market is being brought down by some companies with business in China. "If you own stock in a company that expanded heavily into China, it's being killed right now," he said. But he said companies that rely on China for growth are having a particularly tough time on the market. He listed several companies whose business in China is lagging, including Procter & Gamble , Estee Lauder , Nike and Starbucks . According to Cramer, a reason smaller cap stocks are doing well is because, for the most part, they don't do a lot of business with China.

Summer is here, and it's time to take on those big projects you've been avoiding all year. If one of those is cleaning out the garage, here are some tips to keep it from taking all summer and ruining your familial relationships. If most of the things in your garage are being banished from the premises, will you need help hauling them? AdvertisementYou'll likely find things that need repairing, things you want to donate to specific people or organizations, and things that need to be returned to their original owners. Meaning that you get all the big stuff moved out, the majority of the little stuff organized and put away, but then leave the last bit for… never?

To start let's examine the 200-day moving average on the daily chart below shown as a dashed blue line. Looking back to the most recent correction in April, that was the support level of the price-to-moving average spread: 34%. We could be approaching a support level based on this analysis. This could occur by price continuing to move lower along with the moving average trending higher as the recent higher price readings factor into the average. The 50-day moving average of the daily volume totals is clearly in a decline since April.

Why the U.S. elects so many older politicians

"The age of our politicians is kind of baked into the preferences of our voters," said Christian Fong, an assistant professor of political science at the University of Michigan. The median age of the U.S. population — 38.9 in 2022 — is older than it has ever been, according to the Population Reference Bureau. Older voters tend to favor Republican politicians, whereas younger generations typically have a preference for Democrats. That said, Democratic Party legislators are slightly older than their Republican counterparts on average. Watch the video above to learn how older politicians cling to power in Washington.

Analyst Alex Henderson reiterated his buy rating for the cybersecurity firm but lowered his price target to $375 from $425. JPMorgan analyst Kenneth Worthington attributed a higher assumption for total crypto market cap as one reason for his price target raise. "We see the cryptoecosystem in the midst of a material participation rally, benefitting Coinbase revenue generation near term," the analyst wrote. Analyst Eric Joseph's December 2025 price target of $8 implies a 51% decline ahead for the stock. He also maintained his $725 price target, which implies upside of 15.6% from Monday's close.

CNN —As the burgeoning Kamala Harris campaign works behind the scenes to refine its policy platform, the vice president has increasingly found herself clarifying which of her positions have shifted over the years. A Harris campaign official said Monday she no longer supports a fracking ban. Single-payer health careHarris’ campaign also confirmed this week that the vice president no longer supports a single-payer health care system. As vice president, Harris supported a bipartisan border bill that would have ramped up enforcement at the US-Mexico border. In June 2024, the White House announced a crackdown on asylum claims meant to continue reducing the flow – a policy that Harris’ campaign manager, Julie Chavez Rodriguez, indicated would continue under a Harris administration.

You know that I will never, ever vote for Donald Trump. Instead, a series of negotiations led to an eventual compromise decision limiting the Idaho law and temporarily forestalling further limits on abortion access from the high court. This exclusive series on the Supreme Court is based on CNN sources inside and outside the court with knowledge of the deliberations. The Idaho law had exemptions only to prevent death of the pregnant woman and in instances of rape or incest. It issued formal guidance saying the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA), which requires stabilizing treatment regardless of a patient’s ability to pay, would preempt any state abortion ban in situations when an emergency termination was needed. Idaho lost in an initial proceeding in a US district court, as a judge issued a temporary injunction against the abortion ban.

CNBC's Jim Cramer said Monday the recent reshuffling on Wall Street is about more than a resurgence in small-cap stocks. "This market is not experiencing a smallcap rally, it's experiencing a rally in everything else but the tech titans. Cramer suggested the market isn't being led solely by a few smaller-cap companies that are performing well. Instead, he said, large institutions may be buying poor quality small stocks "as part of a larger basket" with indexes like the Russell 2000 or the S&P Small Cap 600. There are also larger companies that have seen huge gains recently as part of the market broadening, he said, such as McDonald's .

With billions at stake, that's pretty much been a guarantee facing the current market leaders, Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk , from the start. Their updates are likely to be joined by others in the coming months even as today's incumbents develop their own next-generation weight loss treatments. Other analysts have also grown more optimistic about the future of weight loss treatments. Orforglipron, a once-a-day oral GLP-1 drug that Lilly is working on, had shown a 3% weight loss at 4 weeks. Harris opens up new potential paths to victorySince entering the race, Harris has shown momentum in early polling. The positive early polling is a great sign for the vice president, but it isn't the only metric that shows momentum.
