Oct 4 (Reuters) - Headway, a healthcare tech startup that connects patients and in-network therapists, has raised $125 million in Series C funding, the company told Reuters. Insurance company Health Care Service Corporation also joined the round. Based in New York, Headway's platform connects patients with therapists and psychiatrists who can provide care covered by insurance. The company makes money by taking a cut of the payments that therapists on its platform receive from insurance companies. The pandemic prompted more people to turn to mental health services to deal with stress and burnout.

Russia's first moon mission for 47 years ended in failure on Aug. 19 with the crash of its Luna-25 spacecraft, dashing Moscow's hopes of beating India to the unexplored south pole of the moon. Russia has previously said that Luna-26 would be an orbital mission and Luna-27 would be a lander with a drilling rig. As a result, the propulsion system was not shut down when needed. The Kremlin has played down the failure of the mission, saying Russia will continue to pursue ambitious plans in space. New York CNN —On Tuesday, the Supreme Court began hearing oral arguments in a case that will determine the fate of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The Supreme Court will have the final say on that, however. The consumer watchdog agency was created after the 2008 financial crisis by way of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. If the Supreme Court finds the CFPB’s funding structure unconstitutional, it could shutter the agency and invalidate all of its prior rulings. From listening to the case on Tuesday, though, Lynyak believes the Supreme Court will rule that the CFPB’s funding structure is constitutional.

On the heels of that decision, a federal appeals court invalidated a federal law that bars an individual who is subject to a domestic violence restraining order from possessing a firearm. A three-judge district court panel struck down the plan in January, saying that race had been the predominant motivating factor. Ampere builds custom server chips based on Arm technology that compete with designs produced by Intel (INTC.O) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.O), which use X86. Oracle has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in Ampere since it was founded, according to filings. Amazon.com makes its own server chips that compete with Ampere, and Google makes its own artificial intelligence processors.

Ampere aimed to create chips that are designed to be more energy efficient than traditional processors from Intel and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.O), both of which have subsequently announced offerings that compete with Ampere's chips. Oracle is a major investor in Ampere and was among the first cloud companies to adopt its chips in 2021. Ampere said last month that Alphabet's (GOOGL.O) Google Cloud unit would offer its newest chips, which feature computing cores custom designed by Ampere. Cloud computing companies are among the largest purchasers of chips, buying them en masse and renting them out to software developers.
