The White House's Office of Management and Budget initially rejected the Election Assistance Commission's request to create the website. EAC officials immediately resubmitted their HelpAmericaVote.gov request. In a separate statement to Insider, the General Services Administration, which had overseen distribution of ".gov" website domains since 1997, confirmed it was no longer involved in approving or denying federal agencies' website requests. Organizatorii festivalului Untold din Cluj anunță că ediția din 2021 va avea loc în perioadă 5-8 august. Ei spun că evenimentul va putea fi organizat în format fizic datorită apariției vaccinului anti-Covid, dar și dezvoltării testelor rapide ce vor permite testarea în masă. Potrivit organizatorilor, peste 95% dintre posesorii de abonamente și bilete pentru ediția din 2020 și-au transformat biletele și abonamentele în varianta ANYTIME Pass, care le asigură accesul, la alegere, la una dintre următoarele 3 ediții UNTOLD. În același timp, organizatorii festivalului Electric Castle au anunțat că evenimentul este programat să aibă loc între 15 şi 19 iulie, pe domeniul castelului Banffy (judeţul Cluj). Trupele Twenty One Pilots, Gorillaz şi Deftones au fost confirmate drept capete de afiş pentru cea de-a opta ediţie a festivalului Electric Castle.

Trying to pin down the precise number of those with AIDS buried on Hart Island is difficult. A longstanding stigma about the island and criticism that the burial practices are crude and outdated have made city officials reluctant to provide many details. But piecing together an estimate is possible by surveying the many hospitals that treated AIDS patients during the epidemic and sent bodies to potter’s field. By that accounting, the number of AIDS burials on Hart Island could reach into the thousands, making it perhaps the single largest burial ground in the country for people with AIDS. One of them, Elsie Soto, 35, of the Bronx, learned recently that her father, Norbert Soto, who died in 1993 from AIDS, is buried on the island.
