Forvr Mood products can be found in Sephora stores nationwide, and sell direct-to-consumer via their website. Forvr Mood sold $700,000 worth of products within the first four hours of its launch, the company told Women's Wear Daily. And yes, we know Cuban's tax bill won't go directly to paying for these programs, but for the sake of context, here's what his taxes could have funded. Cuban's $275.9 million contribution to the US government could fully back the department with nearly half still left over. Cuban's million could easily cover congressional paychecks and even account for President Joe Biden's $400,000 salary and Vice President Kamala Harris' $235,100 salary. So, Cuban's $275.9 million wouldn't quite be able to cover the potential three-hour DOD cost at $291,095,890.41. While $275.9 million might not seem like it would make a dent in that astronomical number, every little bit helps!

Why gold prices are at record highsFrom central banks to Costco customers, it seems everyone is buying gold these days, reports CNN’s John Towfighi. Central banks see gold as a long-term store of value and a safe haven during times of economic and international turmoil. When interest rates fall, gold prices tend to rise, as bullion becomes more appealing than income-paying assets like bonds. The People’s Bank of China bought gold for the 17th straight month in March, adding 160,000 ounces to bring reserves to 72.74 million troy ounces of gold, according to Reuters. The Honest Company posted a strong fourth quarter in March.

CNN —The Republican operative who accused American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp of sexual assault last year received a significant financial settlement in exchange for dropping his lawsuit against Schlapp, multiple sources familiar with the case told CNN. The $480,000 settlement was paid to Carlton Huffman through an insurance policy, according to a source familiar with the details.
