Read previewThe year of the chicken nugget (2017) and the chicken sandwich wars (2019) might have paved the way for fried chicken's latest role: star of a Netflix show. Next month, the streaming giant is releasing a bizarrely fun-looking comedy based on a Korean web cartoon called, fittingly, "Chicken Nugget." 🐣 Premiering March 15 pic.twitter.com/syGYVrzZS7 — Netflix (@netflix) February 15, 2024The premise of "Chicken Nugget" is silly, of course — but the show underscores the bird's soaring global popularity. And in the early 1960s, a renowned Cornell University professor engineered one of the Ivy League's greatest contributions to humanity: the frozen chicken nugget. It's unclear if the young woman in the forthcoming Netflix series turns into a particular flavor of chicken nugget.

Monday’s Supreme Court showdown in NetChoice v. Paxton and Moody v. NetChoice will determine whether states can forbid social media companies from blocking or removing user content that goes against platform rules. The Florida and Texas laws are broadly written, but officials from both states say the laws will keep social media sites from unfairly silencing conservatives. Social media platforms have insisted for years that they don’t discriminate against right-wing speech. It also allows individual social media users to sue platforms if they believe they have been unfairly censored or “deplatformed.”Florida Gov. A judge will continue to hear testimony Friday in a hearing that could derail the election subversion case against Donald Trump and others. Judge Scott McAfee is considering whether Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis should be disqualified from the case based on allegations that she and Nathan Wade, the special prosecutor she hired to lead the case, engaged in an improper romantic relationship which financially benefitted the district attorney. Here's what to watch:The allegations against Wade and Willis: The alleged affair was first raised by Trump’s co-defendant, former 2020 campaign official Mike Roman. Last month in a court filing he accused Willis of financially benefiting from selecting Wade to lead the case. Roman alleges that Wade took Willis on lavish vacations, paid partly with what he billed her office for work on the case.

He found a house for Hunter Biden’s new family, paid divorce costs to Mr. Biden’s ex-wife and helped resolve a paternity lawsuit from a third woman. He footed the bill for Mr. Biden’s security, back taxes and car payments, facilitated the publication of a memoir and the launch of an art career, and provided emotional support as Mr. Biden dealt with scrutiny from prosecutors and political adversaries. In recent years, no one has been more influential in helping Hunter Biden rebuild his life after a devastating battle with addiction than the Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris. But Mr. Morris’s role has now become a flashpoint of its own. His influence in shaping an aggressive legal and public relations defense for the president’s son against criminal indictments and Republican attacks has rankled President Biden’s advisers inside and outside the White House.

CNN —A hearing that could derail the election subversion case against Donald Trump and others in Georgia is underway as a judge considers whether Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis should be disqualified. It’s unclear if another prosecutor in Georgia would even be inclined to take up the case from Willis, given its political and legal challenges. Wade and Willis acknowledged in court filings that they had a personal relationship but deny any wrongdoing. McAfee called for the hearing Thursday to “establish the record on those core allegations” against Willis and Wade and their relationship. “We are focusing on what the judge asked us to show him – the personal and financial benefits that Willis got from Wade,” Merchant told CNN.

The narrow stock market rally could broaden out beyond megacap tech, and investors should target the "Magnificent 80" stocks, according to Bank of America's Savita Subramanian. Both are key reasons Subramanian sees the market rally broadening, alongside an expected spike in volatility tied to the U.S. election and Federal Reserve interest rate cuts. To play the expected widening market rally, Subramanian points toward the so-called "Magnificent 80" stocks, which are composed largely of companies with strong fundamentals. It was June 2020, and Kolesnikov and Tsoy were, like virtually every other musician at that time, playing a livestreamed concert.
