Oil prices were little changed on Tuesday, holding near the two-month highs reached in the previous session, on expectations for rising fuel demand from the summer travel season and possible U.S. interest rate cuts that could boost economic growth. Oil prices were little changed on Tuesday, holding near the two-month highs reached in the previous session, on expectations for rising fuel demand from the summer travel season and possible U.S. interest rate cuts that could boost economic growth. Gasoline demand in the U.S., the world's biggest oil consumer, is expected to ramp up as the summer travel season picks up with the Independence Day holiday this week. Still, signs of less-than-expected demand growth have limited gains in oil prices. This was mainly because of lower imports into China, the world's biggest oil importer and the second-largest consumer.

Read previewNearly 80% of wealthy art collectors want their masterpieces to stay in the family, according to a Bank of America survey. For instance, the survey found that collectors between 21 and 43 have a greater appreciation for sculptures and antiquities than older art aficionados. Rich art collectors are reluctant to address the issue, according to Rosemary Ringwald, head of art planning at Bank of America's private bank. Collectors are increasingly picking art executors or art trustees to oversee their possessions after they die, she said. The ideal executor does not have a financial interest in the art and isn't a prospective owner of it.

For $25, which wound up being $30 because she didn't have change, Jessica told me my fortune. That psychic is also a pet psychic, which is not Katy's jam. Another time, she bought a bunch of bath oils in New York after a psychic told her she was cursed. In a consumerist society, of course some people are willing to pay to commune with the afterlife.

The Vinfast VF6 all-electric vehicle is on display at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show on Nov. 18, 2022 in Los Angeles, California. Vietnamese automaker VinFast, for a short time the third-most valuable car company in the world, has a big problem: It just can't sell enough cars. Designed specifically for the Vietnamese and other Asian markets, the VF3 is priced for "mass appeal," according to VinFast. VinFast's future matters for Vietnam, both because its ambitions dovetail with the Communist Party's own goals, and because of parent company Vingroup's large role in the Vietnamese economy. "We will never let VinFast go," he told Vingroup shareholders at their annual general meeting in April, according to state media.

Jamaal Bowman was roundly defeated in the Democratic primary for New York's 16th congressional district on Tuesday, making him the first member of the progressive "Squad" to lose reelection. AIPAC spent over $17 million on Bowman's primary. On the ground, AIPAC's offensive translated into TV ads attacking Bowman and praising Latimer, as well as a deluge of mailers at residents' doors. Congressman Jamaal Bowman won both primaries, upsetting former Congressman Eliot Engel in 2020, and beating two Westchester County legislators in 2022.
